I think that particular picture of Sonic wouldn't translate to a tattoo as well. Also my impression is that Sonic has been generally more overused in tattoos recently. Wojak Aiden is funny because of the context that I can recognize it as Aiden. However I think to a random person it would just seem like a generic wojak. That does give it an appeal as a bit of a deep cut but then that puts in competition with Have You Dreamed This Man. Which isn't to say I don't get where your preference is coming from. But I feel like I understand why we ended up with the final two that we did.
