This interview is everything, I am enjoying this so much, even though I don't have electricity as a matter of fact i have no form of utility my phone was charged at a supermarket and i add daily plans which is not picking up digicel is not fully up, but..... 👉👉 i love your pasión Nats you go girl... mine is to have so I can give to the persons who doesn't have much, I always give even when I don't know how i'm going to manage tomorrow, so I'd love to have so I can give more, and that's to people with disabilities and trying single parents.

I think immigrants are wrong to come to Canada and expect a piece of home before they decide a place is good enough. We as immigrants moved to Canada, it's our responsibility to adapt to the Canadian culture, not expecting Canadians to bend backwards to make us feel comfortable, not expecting them to have a piece of our home country here so that we can feel welcome. This is absurd. If a Canadian, espesially a white one, move to Jamacia or Sudan or Nigeria or Poland, how much will that country's inhabitants bend backwards and loose their culture just to make the Canadians feel welcome. I'm pretty sure it would be none. How many Jamaicans will go out of their way to be friendly or go out of their way to befriend that white Canadian? You will expect this white Canadian to fit into your culture. Do not forget, we all moved away from our home countries to Canada for a reason. So we as immigrants should make the effort to befriend Canadians and invite them into our homes. It is the one thing I read one day that drive Canadians nuts and that immigrants come here and don't want to integrate, we just want to create for example a 2nd India. I know it is difficult in the beginning, certain jokes can only be understood from people from your own culture. So create a committee which organize an annual Christmas get-together. The other day I talked to a Philipino and they have one and it's eaily 200 Philipinos attending. So organize an annual Jamacian potluck, rent a hall, all attendees contribute to the cost of the hall and each bring a Jamacian dish to share and enjoy yourself. It's little things like this that you yourself can bring your culture to yourselves. Stop expecting Canadians to do it for you. Always ask yourself if you would have done it in your country for a Canadian if the roles were reversed, especially if it was a white Canadian in a majority of black people
