Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

After watching, you still realize it's 400000$ overpriced......Mate you can buy a nice apartment with the same features on a beach for that money....And the difference is huge - the apartment will keep it's price or go up. The vehicle will only loose value as time passes......

@@cl1cka I tend to agree with you. The people who can afford these don't care about the fact that it's overpriced as they have that in loose change. I think the fact that you can have mobile wealth may appeal to them as they can show it off in multiple locations. 😉

That's literally a land yacht. Most of the interior is top-notch marine hardware. The latches, the bathroom, and every square inch has a purpose. I don't know if it's worth $700k, but it is damn impressive and would make a great bug-out vehicle for the rich.

@E M Is it really? You get a luxury home on wheels. So you naturally have to expect a premium pricetag. Isn´t for everyone but for those with the money to enjoy. Even so i think its a niche in a niche market as the ultra rich might just go for 2million+ motor homes the size of a semi truck with trailer even so the ability to go through uneven terrain goes completely. This here costs a fraction, comes with all luxury and even allows you to explore without relying on paved roads.

@@snakeplissken1754 It is. There’s not much luxury about this. It isn’t ground breaking or lucrative. The only thing you got right about this is that it’s for the rich. And that’s fine. Go with what you can afford. But it isn’t that luxurious and it is most certainly a niche of a niche. The truck itself is way too too heavy to take on many true off road trails. It’s way too tall and would get mangled on small trails in the woods. It’s too heavy to go off-roading in much sand honestly. Like they are trying so hard to sell you this that you can get from a converted van for under $7k lol. I converted my half ton Ford with a topper into a roamer with a swing out tail gate instead of a flip up and I was able to have an awning, outdoor kitchen, storage, outdoor toilet and solar shower and I could run it through almost any mud hole I wanted to without worrying about getting stuck or tipping over. Again…this is fine if you are super rich and wanting everyone to know you have money…but it is still greatly overpriced. You can buy a Ford F550 bus with under 100k miles and convert it into a more stable mobile house for under $70k lol.

That says quality build to me but it also says healthy profit margin. A margin that could be pared back to lower the price some. You're paying for the custom fabrication and engineering that went into this build. I'll agree I believe the price tag is a little steep at $700,00 it seems to me a $350,00-$400,000 price tag would leave them with profit but not until they recouped their initial investment. If the demand was higher and they weren't practically one off builds the price would come down substantially. $700,000 my ass would be in a nice ass boat but that's just me.

@@zee763 this build if you had the fabrication skills could be accomplished for less than $200k all day long. The truck itself would set you back at most $100k leaving you with $100k to spend on the interior. Outside the engineering aspect I doubt they're spending much more than $150k to build not counting their man hours which is probably a few hundred hours per unit. Let's call it a 1000 man hours with 5 guys making $30 an hour that's an additional $150k. So $300k would easily leave them with $50k-$75k in profit.

Can't count the number of so-called luxury off road rigs I've looked at only to find that the maker was basically the fastest machine operator at the cheese processing plant who went into the van business. So with skepticism, clicked on this review. Wow. This not only way exceeds expectations, it also seems a relative bargain. Very well thought out and functional. No silly gimmick stuff to suck one in...it's onvious that their engineers consulted with their target market and built on this. The quality of materials wraps everything in beautiful - not trendy - design that will hold to timeless well. Simply blown away. Would personally have expected a starting price at 9+ with an 'as bespoke' final just north of 1mm. 300 grand plus or minus on the ask should make every buyer feel a fair deal was made. I love companies like this. What a fine offerring.

@@youdontknowme3935 Hopefully not too livid however I hear you Brother and been there a minute or two between affluent and poor and back again more times one wants to admit. Rich or poor, rain falls upon everyone and in ways the storms of myelf increased in direct proportion to increased money being ahead of sense. At the end of the day tho, most everything is just shiny stuff that has nothing to do with our real value and the value of those we hold dear. Life is the ultimate genius of design and craftsmanship. Shiny things come / go and are replaceable. But who we are and who we care for cannot be built ever again no matter the effort, assets or assembly line and at any price. That's real beauty so my little Tony Robbins moment here is that the richest, most valuable and rare unobtanium one could ever own.... he already does. The rig should be the one livid he isn't you brother.

The thing about ER that shocks me is how MASSIVE they look inside, always seems like there is so much more in one of these in comparison to a transit/crafter/sprinter. Id also have skipped having like 2000 remotes and use a harmony or a broadlink IR hub, that would definitely add to the premium feel of the ER.
