There was no easy way to get from Bhutan to our 99th country of Vanuatu, so we flew from Paro to Singapore for a LONG layover and decided the most efficient use of our time to work would be to just stay at the airport! So we did not leave until our next flight left 55 hours later, but staying in the recent $1.3 billion addition called the Jewel wasn't so bad ;)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

@@loganthompson2882 way more than that, in this video alone they would of heard it 5 different times (Butan-Bangkok, Bangkok-Singapore, Singapore-Melbourne, Melbourne-Sydney, Sydney-Vanuatu). Plus they've been back to some countries more than once (like when they look Kara's dad to Vietnam), plus they've taken many internal domestic flights. Obviously they have also taken other modes of transport between countries but I don't think it would make that much of a difference.

I got emotional when you stepped of that plane in your 99th country. It’s been so amazing to share in all your experiences and I’m so happy that you’re achieving your goals. I feel like just through watching you guys so much I’ve gained two really awesome friends as cheesy as that sounds. I know it’s not over yet but I can’t wait to see what the future brings you guys, but after this you deserve a break!

I cannot believe how optimistic, cheerful, and caring you guys are towards each other and this trip! You guys seem to be going through a series of amazing experiences but at the same time really tiring, long, moments. Imagine getting sick in the middle of full time traveling for years, where you have to go through exhausting transportation but at the same time soak in every bit of the happiness and share the experience on multiple cameras onto KZfaq with constant editing. That’s how uplifting but at the same time tiring it is. I really respect you guys and your personalities brightens up the whole mood of everyone watching your videos. I love you guys and stay safe and healthy!

8 years ago today my best friend from high school and I were getting ready to board a plane bound for Paris. So many bucket list items were crossed off my list that day (going to JFK, flying on an Airbus 380 which was fairly new at the time, etc.) We spent 2 days in Paris and 3 days in Istanbul. I always wanted to travel more but life got in the way. I got married, went through jobs, had a baby, and bought a house. Watching your videos has allowed me to travel without ever leaving Michigan. Thank you so much.

At the beginning of the vlog, I was like, ‘Kara you trooper!’ and my heart went out to you as the first flight took off, but as the vlog progressed, I was like, ‘Oh no! Nate! You trooper!’, but I am so glad he felt better before the vlog ended. Kara you are so like me on planes. When it gets a bit bumpy the first thing I do is grab hubby’s arm and say “IT’S BUMPY! Now that I said that. How awesome was that hotel. I mean you get treatment based on your body’s pulse and needs. The food looked AMAZING and you both ALWAYS seem. Staying at the Jewel looked absolutely amazing and Shake Shack is good but DANG that airport LOVED it. Sorry Nate didn’t feel well but glad he started feeling better. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE 100!!!!

I legitimately think I'm gonna cry when that 100th country video drops. I can't lie. Y'all have inspired me to travel! I never did because my family never did and I always said "I'd like to do that but we don't travel." But I figured "why does that mean I can't?" Last month I left the country for the first time (and by myself) for England and Ireland. I recently got back and I wasn't in the US for 48 hours before I started looking to book my next trip. Y'all have actually changed my life. Thank you!

Congrats on country 99... and 100, can’t wait to see what it is!!! Also faredrop is seriously amazing! Brenden Walters great point. The US has the worst airports of any western modern country. Same goes for train stations too.

Now my wife,you take her out of her comfort zone (home) for a cruise or Europe tour and its nag...nag...nag.....Thank Buddha for noise cancelling headsets!!

When you guys say it's been a bad travel day or travel week, it's not really the same or as impactful as most people because traveling is your JOB and to me in comparison the impact to the rest of us is as if we had a bad day or week at work
