@@samthekashman A couple things - it will reduce it’s life as this boat thing puts a significantly higher load on the engine vs the weight of the ski alone. Second, a Seadoo 300 redlines in the low-mid 7000 rpm range. Even if it did rev to 13k, not sure how that would be beneficial in this instance.

@@samthekashmanredline had nothing to do with added weight on an engine that isn’t designed for it. If you buy this you have to rebuild the engine with forged/billet parts and turbocharge it.

I had the og one of these!! It was called a Shuttlecraft. U could mount any ski u wanted pretty much by changing rails. It was like 14 ft I think it was pretty cool for a first boat. I only paid 3k tho lol should have kept it!!

So this concept is actually really really neat. They haven’t worked out the flaws as far as how the hull of the jetski decreases turning speed and radius. It is also extremely unsafe to have a motor less boat out on the water of a busy waterway that isn’t able to be paddled easily. I think these can be solved by having a slightly more upward angle of the bow, and by attaching at the very minimum a trolling motor to the front of the vessel

I imagine the boat does not need registration since there's no engine of any kind. The jetski would be registered instead.

Its a good way to save 1engine. Instead of having 2 engines with little hours on the clock, you have 1, summing up the runtime for both. So it's about engine size, when it's sufficent for the boating part, it's really fun as a jetski!
