When I tested it with a custom hud, it broke and showed a missing texture instead, I think it doesn't work anymore because of some TF2 update, but before you had to do some modifications to make it work.. Another thought that I have is that the custom hud also replaces 'resource\ui\freezepanel_basic.res' so it kinda overlaps and creates a mess. You can try to see if it works by doing the mod, keep in mind that it's not recommended. "if you use custom hud open your HUD's resource\ui\freezepanel_basic.res file and paste the code inside of "code_for_freezepanel_basic.res" to line 10. save changes drag WBRB_SOUND_ONLY to your tf\custom folder unless you don't want to modify the freezecam sound"

all of these worked to me, idk if they work now 1 *you're playing on valve's servers, to solve this, start your game, open your console, type in: map itemtest, then, wait to the map load, get killed by a bot with this mod (with tf_bot_add), leave the map and then it should be working.* (there's two ways that this step can result: 'perm' = your problem is solved, your mod is working fine, there's a chance that a update may mess up, to fix it, try it again. 'every' = this is what happened to mine, don't worry, it's normal, everytime you start tf2 you need to enter the command on console "map itemtest" and then get killed by a bot to fix it, if you don't do this, it'll be a missing texture (idk if its needed to be killed by a bot) 2 *your download was/is corrupted, to solve this, reinstalling should work (check your firewall too)* 3 *using this mod with custom hud no longer works, because valve changed "custom hud's resource\ui\freezepanel_basic.res" or more other things* btw, are you using the mod on singleplayer or multiplayer? if you played with this mod on singleplayer; did it worked?; --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you didn't, you should try to play it on singleplayer to see if it works; if it didn't work, check these steps above; if none of these steps worked, some of the info may be wrong/outdated.

are you using a custom hud? i heard somewhere that the new tf2 update -messed up- changed the custom hud's resource\ui\freezepanel_basic.res. if you insert WBRB_HUD_AND_SOUND or WBRB_HUD_ONLY in the resource\ui\freezepanel_basic.res file and play the game, instead of "we'll be right back" it will appear a missing texture and only the sound will play. sadly.

sorry if some informations are wrong. but i think to make this mod's hud to work you'll need to have the default tf2 hud.
