Founder and Board Chairman of Quick Credit, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has announced that his company will no longer undertake house-to-house recovery of loans.
According to the business magnate, the on-field loan recovery department of his organization has been dissolved.
Richard Nii Armah Quaye explained during Quick Credit’s annual gathering at the Conference Center in Accra on Sunday that the decision was made following feedback from stakeholders.

They should create it in a way that when people want loan they will fill out a form with their legal first name last name then their address and a valid id as well as their bank information. The money should be deposited in the bank and when it’s time to pay they withdraw it from the bank

This is why the Ghana Card will be beneficial. It will take some time but the more this card is used you are building a record/data so when a loan facility looks at this record it increases the chance that the loans will be issued to Ghanaians who are more able to pay back the loan. Right now, these agencies are operating in the dark.

There’s direct debit system over here in UK and you have no control over that money. If the time is up and there are no funds your account will run into an overdraft and will have an impact on your credit score. Gh is 200yrs behind 🤦🏾‍♂️

The fact that they’re no longer engaging in home to home collections doesn’t mean the contracted third party may not engage in questionable actions. QuickCredit doesn’t want to be liable which is smart but we’ll see what the third party does.
