Reading ILCS 521-5 its does not apply here. This code is for state property that is posted/notice “prior to entry” that you do not have access to this land or building. Meaning it is not open to the public. In this instance this building is open to the public is not posted prior to entry that there is no trespassing because it’s open to the public this officer is wrong and is trying to remain ignorant because that’s how their qualified immunity protects them if they think they are doing their job the right way. But TTA did well in informing them they are wrong hence they are not ignorant regarding the law because they disregarded him showing them the law. In essence ILCS 521-5 is being misused and misunderstood on purpose because “they don’t want you here” remember these public agencies are in fact public service entities that we have a right to access simply because we pay for them. They do not have a right to refuse service unless we are creating a serious disturbance I.E. fighting, yelling, blocking others from getting service, etc. our camera/constitutional rights cannot be the disturbance

I learned all of this when I worked at an airport in 2002. While we didn't liked to be filmed doing our duties, at some point we were informed that as long as the individual didn't impede our job they could film us. Now in 2024 this should be public knowledge in this day and age. When you have people refusing to do their jobs, those people should be dealt with immediately, because their feelings shouldn't be part of the equation. Funny how she was quick to come from behind that glass when 5 0 showed up lol. That frank is one disgusting individual, when his perceived authority is questioned his feelings get hurt smmfh.
