It amazes me at how many people wait till they get at the docks before putting their docking lines out😂 it is about a 4-5 minute boat ride in a no wake zone before we reach the docks during that time we get the Bosch ready with dock lines and fenders.. another great video brother!

It is still very hard to repower with a Sukiiku since 2020. Seems like the only place to find a 140 is in Florida or on the east coast. None of my dealers in GA can get them.

You should have laying down flipped over the front end of the boat owed back the tailgate and strapped it in and strapped to the front of the of the Truck and the tailgate part tied down as well and put everything else in it it's what's heavy the spare tire whatever inside the boat

Those same kids will be the ones who maybe one day be the ones to safe your life. I would always bust my neighbors kids chops. tell them to sweep the front of the house, shovel the snow from neighbors sidewalk for free. Sometimes we'd play "wingman" for them when they would get in trouble with the cops. Eventually we'd tell their parents. Years later some became doctors, 2 became lawyers and the one who ran his "illegal" after hours store became the Mayor lol So, long story short. They'll always appreciate you Alfred.

I have a unique perspective on PFD's. I grew up as a competitive swimmer and water polo all the way through college. I can literally swim for miles. That said, when making a passage I would wear a mustang survival PFD. And years ago I read a story of a guy who fell off his boat that was on autopilot. He was able to get to the entrance buoy to San Pedro, which is about 2-3 miles off shore. He almost died until after 4 days a fishing boat saw him. Seriously... 3 miles from shore? Not only would I make that swim, I would time myself to see if I could still compete.

The kids did good. The guy on the front of the next boat failed. NO LINE! He let his Captain down, I'd trust the kids first!

The people that are chit show eligible I noticed one thing about them, they never have their lines ready when they dock.

Good of you to check the kids for pfd’s. And then what was up with their inability to lift that little boat into the truck. It only weighs @200#’s. Plus they should have let it hang over the tailgate vs The roof.

I’d atleast attach a strap to the front of the boat and run it to the front bumper somewhere to hopefully keep it secure but either way what a sketchy way to tow the boat 😂

Alfred, while you had good intentions regarding those kids and the PFDs, you shouldn't have stopped them in the middle of the towing evolution! If something happened to them while the operator went to look for the PFDs that would've been bad. You could've said something once they were at the dock.

It's amazing to me how many people can't dock a boat with twins. They're so much easier to control than a single engine.
