I'm an Evertonian, this came up on my feed. Very fair and honest assessment. I was surprised by how flat Liverpool were, and for once we were actually fairly comfortable for the last 20 minutes or so. Agree Diaz was the only one who came out with any credit. Obviously we're wondering why we haven't performed like that all year, but I really can't believe what has happened at Liverpool, I genuinely believed you'd win all 4 at one stage. I don't agree with the "tired" argument but it definitely looks like they've hit a brick wall. I almost feel sorry for Klopp, as it almost looks like some players have downed tools, several were almost anonymous in the derby. In the cruel harsh light of day, maybe it is time for a freshen up of your squad, and perhaps a new manager will ship a few out. Losing is part of football (as us Evertonians know 🙈🙈), but there are ways to lose, and for a team with so much to play for to almost go out with a whimper is very strange to me.

Knew this wasn't gonna be great from the 5-6 changes made in the line up compared to weekend! When you change a line up that won with that much change expect the worst! We bottled it this season. Title was in our hands. It started when we lost to Arsenal. Completely avoidable result, and slowly and steadily it’s fallen apart. The kids got us into this position and the first teamers let us down. Time to make changes. Remove all sentiment, sell Salah and Nunez, bring in fresh energy and someone who can finish.

As a Chelsea fan, I was backing Liverpool to be in the title hunt and win the trophy. I don't want Arsenal to win it. I have not changed my mind since then but Virgil van Dijk, MO Salah and the rest of the Liverpool team should be holding their heads in shame. To go across Stanley Park and give your next door siblings a chance to win the local derby is inexcusable. Luis Diaz is the only one that should be immune from the criticism, he looked like a Liverpool player that actually wanted Merseyside bragging rights than his own teammates. If Liverpool lose one more match, then it is officially title race over for them, it probably is already judging by the lack of passion and fight by the players. BUT! we have won a trophy this season & we will be 3rd in the league SOME teams like tonights opposition would give their right arms for that.
