We sitting at home CAN’T really predict what’s going to be the result and that’s beauty of watching two strong teams going head to head, you just can’t predict till the last ball. YES, Indian team have formidable batters able to deliver in difficult of circumstances and capable of winning matches sometimes single handlingly, and then you’ve many positives from Pakistan too like their team’s mature evolving approach to big games which is even more important than having a squad of formidable stars. Was a fantastic game of cricket. Both teams were equal and neither deserved to loose. It was India - Pakistan match. High voltage. 90k spectators. I remember the World Cup matches played in 1996 and 2003, this game was right up there. But yet there was a big difference between then and now. The players from both teams played in the right spirit. There was no bad blood between the two teams. The last over noball and byes would have been tough for the Pakistanis to digest but no bad words were exchanged between the players. In my view, when India was 40-4 and struggling. That was the time to again unleash our pacers on them who were breathing fire at that time. However, our Captain goes for defense and saved them for the final overs. Why can't we simply attack when we had our upper hand but we chose to worry about final overs. Babar Azam played a smart move by keeping #Nawaz for the final over as he had thought that Haris Rauf Official would have bowled a better 19th Over giving atleast 20 22 runs for nawaz to defend. You got to give it to Virat Kohli for being exceptional. The free hit ball originally was a wide giving is 1 run. As it was a wide the free hit ball was still to be bowled. And in a free hit ball e cept for run out and stumping no other out is valid. Hence when the ball hit the wicket and went to the 3rd man the runs taken are considered as byes. Hope this helps.

They may as well play with 5 bowlers and 3-4 batters no need to make 11 in team sheet for T20s these days. Both teams can play (and need to ) be much better than this to have a chance at WC. Btw, 145+ mph except for Rauf who varies by hitting wicket, is meaningless esp for a skiddy bowlers from Asia and Aussie/England will chow them down on those “true” wickets. Wasim, Waqar, Mushtaq and Imran’s captaincy are hard to get (which is why 145+ again doesn’t matter). My favorite player among 22 was Ashwin - there is some comic element as ever with him. Plus he is a trier and aggro.
