Definitely one of their best 80s hits. You also did "LIttle Lies", so I will recommend "Gypsy", "Big Love" (vocals by L. Buckingham), and "Everywhere" (a C. McVie song - pronounced McVEE). Also: "Edge of Seventeen" was a Stevie solo song, not an FMac song. If I had to list my favorite of theirs, it would be between "Sara" and "Say You Love Me".

Jay, "Edge of Seventeen" is solely Stevie Nicks when she went solo. Hopefully you guys can do more songs by just her. You have to remember that she has a completely solo career aside from FM. They are definitely classic rock, but in the 80's-90's they went a lot more with a pop sound to change with the times and evolve to remain relevant.

Amber, you were talking about Christine McVie (pronounced Mac-Vee) and the songs she sings on. Here's just a few of the big hits of Fleetwood Mac that she wrote or co-wrote and sang the lead on. Hope to hear you react to more of her songs because I've come to have a _much_ bigger appreciation for just what a force she was in the band than I used to. “Say You Love Me” “You Make Loving Fun” “Songbird” (Just FYI, Eva Cassidy also did a beautiful cover of this, along with many other artists) “Hold Me”. (Love the music video on this one) “Little Lies” “Over My Head” “Don’t Stop” "Think About Me" "As Long As You Follow" (Beautiful song and Great music video, with their new guitar player) Also, "World Turning" pairs Christine with Lindsey Buckingham on lead, Their voices are a perfect match

Lindsey Buckingham sang solo also. His best known song as a solo artist was "Trouble" which was released in late 1981. This song showcases his great vocals and guitar playing. You guys really need to discover him. My favorite Fleetwood Mac song is "Landslide" in the 70's and "Gypsy" in the 80's. Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham shared vocals on "Hold Me" which came out in the summer of 1982 and was one of their biggest hits and earliest music videos during the dawn of MTV.

Stephanie Stevie Nicks Born May 26th 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona is an American singer songwriter with the iconic Fleetwood Mac She is definitely one of my favorite all time female vocalist of the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's Stevies iconic husky voice was due to her having nodules on her vocal chords.

Stevie Nicks actually has the 3rd most lead singer songs for Fleetwood Mac with 37. Lindsey Buckingham is next with 52 and Christine McVie has the top spot with 56.

I'm with Amber. I love Landslide. It hits different as you get older and go through life. There's a wistfulness along with the weight of a shared history. Such a beautiful song! Thanks for the reaction!

Nice song, her voice is so distinct. They have done so many songs in so many styles, in so many eras. Try I'm So Afraid for some rocking stuff from them, live it takes on a life of its own. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Being born in 72, by the time this track/album came out I was old enough to absorb it. The whole album (Tango in the Night) has some sort of magical quality to it that I can't explain in words. Just the sounds used in the tracks (this and Little Lies), stuff musicians do to take you to another place. Wonderful stuff.

I'm from '73, and know exactly how you feel. In fact THIS was THE song that first made me fall in love with this band... And ended up appreciating their earlier stuff as the years went on. It's been my favorite band ever since 87.

Peak of the cheesy 80s synth though. Even metal bands sounded electronic... (Nothing to do with the quality of compositions of course)

"Hold Me" is the lead off single from 1982's Mirage album. Christine is on lead. Video still looks good 40 years later. Big bucks for that early in the MTV era.

Edge of Seventeen is an incredible song, but Landslide is and will always be my favorite song by them (unless Stevie writes something even more amazing now, but it's hard to imagine topping Landslide). That song moves me so much, and I never tire of hearing it. 😊❤

First of all, congratulations to you guys for your naturalness, ability to communicate and charisma and friendliness!! Taking advantage of the fact that this time it was Fleetwood Mac's turn to be reviewed by you, I recommend an anthology song performed by guitarist Lindsey Buckingham in 1992: Countdown. A personal opinion, perhaps Buckingham's talent was not fully appreciated throughout his career, but this song is a sample of his incredible talent, not only as a singer but also as a guitarist. Keep it up, delight us!!

Stevie and Lindsey have an album that was released in 1973, prior to them joining Fleetwood Mac. You should listen to a few of the songs from it. The album is called Buckingham Nicks. Check out: Crying I'm The Night, Crystal, Long Distance Winner and Races Are Run. Stevie wrote these songs. You will really like it. I was 17 when it was released and listened to it regularly. It's good 👍.

One of my favorite songs by them... I'd like to suggest a song from very early in Fleetwood Mac's career. From before Stevie joined... in 1973 Bob Welch was the lead singer... they did a song called ❤"Hypnotized"❤. It has a great triple drum beat and an eerie feel to it... it gives it a mysterious sound. Bob wrote the song while staying at a mansion in Hampshire, England that was owned by the Mick Fleetwood. He described the place as "spooky" and that it added to the vibe of the song.

This is one of my favorites of Fleetwood Mac, the sheer amount of nostalgia I get from hearing them is enough to bring me to tears. "Mystified" is another favorite that's sung by Christie McVie. Also the title song "Tango in the Night" is a must-listen! 💗

OK, time to DEMAND that you explore the other two singers! : ) Your mentioned Christine McVie but, Lindsey Buckingham (guitarist) was such a major part also. You already did Go Your Own Way, that's him...Big Love, I'm So Afraid (killer guitar) live versions from 1976 or live from The Dance 1997...Christine had so many too, You Make Loving Fun, Say You Love Me, Everywhere... The drummer is Mick Fleetwood, bassist is John McVie, Christine's ex...both are top-notch (the name comes from them) FM has so many hits, live versions are great. If you do go back to Stevie, live Sisters Of The Moon, 1979/80 is haunting or 1982 is very good, both show off the band at their peak. Love reliving with you two! Keep exploring FM, they are great!!
