Then when it did actually go wrong he immediately snapped out of it and into problem solving mode. Calm, logical thinking to mitigate danger. Reassuring Johnny it’s okay and doesn’t blame him because, hey, accidents happen. And when Zach asks what happened, he didn’t throw Johnny under the bus, took accountability as a team, and recognizing the important thing is to move forward. I’ve worked all different kinds of jobs with many different kinds and levels of stress and pressure, and I can tell you that not a lot of people can react like that. Watching Keith handle the oven incident shows how great of a dad he will be. Very patient, understanding and didn’t place blame. I wish there were more people like that in bad situations ❤

Them not telling Rachel about the pizza oven is basically the equivalent of kids not telling their mom that they broke something. Which confirms that Rachel is THE mom 😂😂😂😂

After seeing Keith's reaction to the oven falling it's good to see if Keith's kid in the future ever got into a situation like that they wouldn't be yelled at, or blamed. He'd just help fix the problem. It would have been easy for Keith to go crazy like he does when he loses food challenges for comedy sake, but it was wholesome seeing Keith just reassure Jonny it was all good and they all fixed the issue together.

This was one of my favorite try guys videos of all time. The chaos was unmatched. Maybe I'm biased as a career server/resturant manager but there were moment upon moment of relatable footage. I'm honestly so proud of this whole team for being able to go through this process without giving up? 10/10

The strong FoH/ BoH vibes in this video 😂 Also major props to Keith and Kwesi for keeping extremely calm and safety oriented during the oven incident. Champs. Keith's tough but fair leadership style the entire time really pushed service through. Love that we got to see his management style vs the hectic facade we usually see.

I know that we always see Keith blathering in (fake) anger when it comes to those cooking contests he loses but its nice to see how calm and cool he is when shit really goes down ala ovengate 2024.

Right? He kept me feeling sane throughout the video, and I was like "oh, Keith being angry is just a bit and he's actually chill." It was also super cute when Zach admitted he really cared how it was going and Keith said he did too

My anxiety cannot handle watching this again but sooo many cute bits that I loved! “I don’t know what that accent was but it was mysterious” killed me 😂 and I also loved that when Johnny tried to be like “I pushed the oven…” Keith reframes it and was like “the oven fell on the ground” so to not assign blame
@marleyroppolo19107 ай бұрын
The mass chaos of this all is giving family owned restaurants vibes. Keith and Zach bickering, Zach still actively trying decide if it’s a gay restaurant right up to the opening, Kwesi pronouning the name of the restaurant 5 different ways, the scrambling for things to work up until the last minute. Might be the best video of 2024 so far.

It's actually amazing what Keith and Johnny were able to accomplish with one tiny (subpar) pizza oven. With a full-sized pizza oven they would have been unstoppable!

Watching Keith under pressure is magic. Johnny going, "I broke the oven! 😭" and Keith saying, "the oven fell." Because he knows blame isn't helpful. He's gotta be just as stressed as Johnny, and probably kinda pissed off, but stressing Johnny out by emphasizing *who* broke it isn't going to make the restaurant run any smoother. Peak management style, Keith! ❤❤❤ *chef's kiss*

AHHH I LOVE THIS CONCEPT FOR A VIDEO HAHA, I HOPE THEY MAKE IT A WHOLE SERIES!! I feel like maybe the next one should be "We Made a Bakery/Cake Shop in Our Office" and have Johnny be the head chef/baker! And each video will be a different type of restaurant/bakery with one of their chef friends being head chef (eg. Monique and her restaurant would be a fine dining dessert concept restaurant) and ultimately at the end of the series you tally up the points to see which restaurant/bakery + head chef combo was the winner!
