We're going down to the Bayou this week to make Gumbo and crawfish rangoons with Louisiana native Megan Making Money. We also got a little help from the King of the South Ben Mintz! I think these were the first creole rangoons ever made and they sure lived up to the hype!

If you put gelatin powder in the gumbo soup, you can turn it into gumbo jelly, which will later melt back into soup when you fry. If its fully sealed, there will be liquid gumbo inside the goon.

Fuck those look incredible. I think cajun food is like a top 5 cuisine. Its right there with Japanese Italian Mexican and French.
