You can add electric current sensor & keep track of current once it turned on When you notice sudden change in current it means table encountered a collision Usually motors will draw more current when we tried to add more load. Others method is to use rotatory encoders there you need to track change in speed during the collision. There are plenty of methods You can try: Using mpu6050, lasers, accelerometer, etc.

Regarding anti collision, if u can read current consumption frm actuator, that can work without introducing a sensor. Advantage: 1. No BOM change 2: cost remain same and in turn as u are adding a feature, u can add more profit. 3. Complexity do not increase. This approach we utilize in designing automotive door window up feature called anti-pinch. So we have a motor which moves glass in car windows up-down. ECU continuously read current from motors. If motor see something coming on their way while going up, it trying to push and apply power which in turn suddenly increase current consumption. ECU detect change in current and cut motor operation. Hope this helps...

6000N x 2 actuator.. they can pus a quintal of weight... Even 2 1500N would have done job.. can save 1000-1500 per actuator... Also, we can work with aluminium profile to make table.. lighter weight.. saves labour charges and can be dismantled, parts can be changed to change length and width or the table anytime..

They probably measure the current consumption to stop the table from damaging other objects. If there are obstructions the motors will suddenly consume more power, if you detect that from the wire in-between the motor and the power supply, you can stop it. Waiting for an update video.

Man, Don't fool yourself and your subscribers. First of all you haven't 'made' that. It is made by a carpenter. Second what you are doing is called "assembling" not "making" ( as you can see in some gaming pc build up videos ). You are not 'Innovating". But I have to say that your video editing capabilities are good. Go with video editing, you can earn more subscribers. Had you done some innovation the table could have been made as cheap as 10k. I don't mean to hurt you or demotivate. You guys are doing a great job, atleast doing something and something is better than nothing but If you have spent more than 30k for a table which is easily available at 25k on amazon then your innovation is pointless. Don't take it to your heart but I hope, you get what I am trying to say.
