On paper this metal detecting location should have been perfect. The site was really old, going back to the late 1600's and there's still an old house standing that was built back around 1730. Doug worked on this permission for the better part of 2 years and we finally got access but right from the beginning we noticed something wrong and after a little while of hunting around we knew we were doomed!
Meanwhile, we had to leave for Chicago shortly afterwards so I had to edit this hunt on the road and Doug and I tried to fill in the gaps along the way. We don't exactly strive to be professionals but sometimes I think we're barely amateur humans.
