I just watched this and thought that! I live in a 900 sq ft 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment and our kitchen is the exact same size. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

The floors are amazing! The light grey cabinets will hide dirt more than white and if you want to lighten things up change the counter but I love the combo now! Congratulations on your home!!

Wouldn’t you want to have Oakley’s room for your daughter make the alcove into a window seat for her to read. And put Oakley in her room.

It is her house, so respect her choices we understand that a child that size shouldn’t have that big of a room, but I also agree with her putting him in that room because she he’s a baby and needs more space to crawl and learn rather then being tied up to a smaller room. Also if you think about it her daughter has more privacy with that room because of the bathroom and closet.

We don’t have basements where I live (Texas) so when I picture one it’s like the movies: dark and scary! But this one is not at ALL like that! It’s like an extra floor of the home, so beautiful and spacious!

Hayley Chavez I’ve had 2 basements in my life and while they weren’t dark and scary, they had like 2 windows total. Like you said, hers is just like another level to her house. Love it!! So dreamy. Also I had no idea Texas doesn’t have basements!

Beautiful house! Your idea of making that little storage space a kid’s area is perfect. We did that in a big closet under the stairs in a house we used to live in and our kids loved it. They thought it was so cool and actually recently mentioned they wanted that again haha.

Beautiful! As a former whirlpool employee I HIGHLY suggest getting the extended warranties on all the whirlpool products. Maytag and kitchenaid are whirlpool appliances as well!
