I was at the Cathedral on that Sunday. Almost 4 years later I’m watching the video. Riveting, deeply moving and meaningful. “He who began a great work in you will perfect it unto the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 Peace and Blessings.

How the preacher get “ the lord destroyed sodom and gamorah because of how they treated the poor and not because they were gay” that’s not what’s written and perhaps this preacher intentionally misleads. Ezk 16 48 As I live, saith the Lord God, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. 51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.

Lon harv Its clearly written in the Good News translation Ezekiel 16 vs 48-51 48 As surely as I am the living God the Sovereign Lord says, your sister Sodom and her village never did the evil that you and your village have done 49 She and her daughters were proud because they had plenty to eat and lived in peace and quiet, but they did not take care of the poor and underprivileged. 50 The were proud and stubborn and did the things I hate, so I destroyed them, as you well know. 51 Samaria did not sin half as much as you have. You have acted more disgustingly than she ever did. Your corruption makes your sisters look innocent in comparison..

914vella I don’t read from the good news bible but let’s read on to verse 50 and see what it says. verse 50 from the (GNT) they were proud and stubborn and did the things I hate so I destroyed them, as you well know. Soooooo version I use translations “things I hate” to “committed Abomination” The original word used here was “toebah” Meaning abominable act or detestable act. Transcribed as Abomination. Being stingy or not giving to the poor never was called an Abomination. Do you think your version of the Bible is an accurate representation of translation? the identity of the word “toebah” in Hebrew albeit modern Hebrew, is in conflict with your translation.
