He was turning down offers when people were begging for one…he was independent before it was this easy to be independent.

Yep, there are millions of us all in the same boat and I think it's time for us to start repairing these holes and looking out for one another. My husband is a volunteer firefighter and first responder and the amount of kids attempting and or succeeding in taking their own lives over the past 3 years has been unbelievably heartbreaking. The average age, from what just I have myself have heard, has been 15 and and younger. We have to do better, and I really appreciate that you always remind people to reach out if they are in need of someone to talk to. Awesome reaction.

A volunteer firefighter saved my life when my house burned down. I never really stopped to think that these guys *really* are running into burning buildings. I knew they did of course, but it’s impossible to understand until there’s a building burning around you. It’s the scariest thing anyone can imagine. Those guys are legit heroes. Takes a special person to do that. Most people don’t realize what they’re really doing. Tell him I said thanks, the only reason I’m able to is because of someone like him. 🫡

@@Dan0TheMano Oh wow, I am glad you're okay. I bet that was very scary and traumatic. Were you injured or anything? I'll be sure to tell him. It's crazy I never realized how dedicated a person would have to be to be a volunteer till I met him and moved out of town. They literally work their regular jobs and run out to help people in times of crisis without pay. It blew my mind when I learn how it worked, at least thats how it works for the department he is on. It definitely takes a special kind of person to do it paid or not.

I'm not a huge hip hop or rap fan. However, the way Webby piggybacked his message onto this just made that much more of an impact! Showing that people from different walks of life are often walking the same paths! Now I don't know about a revolution, but I hope this movement creates an EVOLUTION in the way people think and how they treat one another!
