That little Princess helping her Daddy at the store - just priceless! And then a mercurial change when she's back home with her Mom - swanky little hip-shakes (copied I guess?) - she is so like Mom in so many little ways. Great chair by the way. And thank you for taking so much of your time and effort to edit and upload - makes for good entertainment!

1) Cute shot of both of you putting on crocs to get started... 2) 356,713 miles on that truck!?!!?! WOW. Respect. Interior looks great too. Side benefit of being in the south... no road salt to rust out the frame.

I went back and forth a dozen times deciding between knock-down and skip-trowel on the ceiling. Finally went with skip-trowel, even though I soon learned I couldn't do it myself. The results from a pro made my 8' ceilings look far higher, and two folks got the entire house done in one day!

Lydia, did you body-slam the ceiling to get that beautiful decoupage on your outfit??? Ladly is the worlds bestest helper -- so cute and full of smiles. 88 here in Eastern Central Minnesota, Life in the Pines is probably drowning in Canadian Smoke -eh. -- I was thinking, in the pantry, be sure to put some sort of self or barrier on the floor under the shelves before you start to load it up with Diet Coke. At least in Minnesota, we get terrible condensation on the floors when the weather gets humid. The last thing you want is to have a cardboard box get saturated with condensation and have to wonder where that beautiful scent of ick is coming from

Keep the window trim simple. Get some cedar fence boards and cut them to trim the window case. Next sand the boards smooth. they will smell amazing and when clear sealed will look amazing. Did I mention this is made from cedar fence pickets which run about $6 for a 10-foot board? Which is enough for more than one window.

yall at it again. I think the windows look great and so does the texture. Seeing Ladly give daddy a hug and kiss melts my heart. Makes me think of my little girl (16 now so not so little) and how much I cherish those moments with her. Quick question: Do yall prefer the framing heavy construction portion of the build or doing the lighter side like trim work better? And lastly... It sounded like you were going to cover the floor in Chicken S#!+!!! is that what I heard? 🤣🤣🤣 Have a fantastic rest of the week yall and so glad you made it home safe!
