I think the main problem of the game is simply the gameplay. Store packs, fc points, higher leaugue and sweaty players, it all can be avoided IF the gameplay is good. It's just the gameplay has gotten so bad. Wish they had different modes that would limit the team ratings, maybe 1 icon max, 2 players over 90, 2 silvers required... I dno something, but again the gameplay just sucks

I have an addictive personality, coupled with Autism and severe anxiety and depression - I found myself buying packs, spending £100 at a time, and though it wasn't often, I did find myself starting to spend more money on it. In the end, I sold my really good players like Winter Wildcards Eric Cantona to get as much coins as possible, and decided to build Paris FC and evolve them. Though they aren't necessarily competitively viable, it did enable me to no longer care about rewards, or packs, because I have the players that I want - and at least, if I did spend money on evolving them, I knew what I was getting. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone, build your favourite team and evolve them - rewards become meaningless, but you get the sense of progression from watching your players gradually improve. I agree with you about the hypocrisy of some of these content creators.
