Honestly Galacta is a very interesting character, it just sucks that she isn’t canon to the main series, since I really like the idea of a story focusing on someone trying to be above their nature or in this case her endless hunger.🐱

If Marvel Rivals somehow convinces Marvel that Galacta could be relevant again, I could see her popping up alongside Deadpool, Gwenpool, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Fantastic Four, or maybe appear in Marvel Future Fight or an episode of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

Its crazy Galacta came back in these last couple of years, didn't expect it since I read it years back. Cause she made some cameos in Marvel Meow 2021, Crypt of Shadows 2023, and Marvel Voices Infinity #94.

The biggest surprise was seeing Galacta in Marvel Rising, either Marvel Games division thought she and Luna Snow were perfect for NetEase, or NetEase themselves loved the anime aesthetic they cooked with that one time.

Man I'm halfway through this video and feel like I need a shower. I did not need to be reminded of the Wonderbread Guy.

Honestly she could be a neat little character to include in canon, just reworked a bit. While she's definitely a more anime influenced character, I do believe there's others who've been brought in and used in more mainline comics. Though personally I'd like her outfit or at least helmet to be less directly a feminine version of her dad's armor. I'm all for it being scant but I think it should be more personalized to her. Though I do really like her more human disguise and find her attempts to speak English more normally funny. As for her hunger, that could probably still be used just handled differently. Like in order to just get through the day, maybe normal food works just in quantities that'd be utterly inhuman. But to use her powers, she needs to process more complex matter and organisms thus her more alien diet. Could lead to her trying to do interesting stuff with cooking as a fun/dangerous hobby

I first learned of her through her "fanart". I dug deeper after she was revealed for Marvel Rivals and boy am i glad she is comming back to the spotlight! I hope she starts appearing elsewhere in marvel.

She's actually has appeared a couple more times in small roles she was in one Marvel Meow strip and she appeared in one of the Marvel Vocies comics recently for like a page I believe not much but she has shown up since. Honestly i think a new series about her could be cool the idea of her being a hero with God powers but she tries not to use her powers heavily because it would make her need to eat more so like a hero that could solve stuff easily but if she did it could cause more problems kind of like the Sentry but in a different way. Plus add the kid to that it could be a neat idea.

After your comment on your speech pattern I was really trying to understand what the haters meant. I have never heard anything you’ve said and thought “that sounded weird”. Your cadence fits your videos really well and you make sure to show emotion and inflection during parts of the sentence that deserve attention. I don’t speak the same way you do in your videos but you absolutely do not have a problem with the way you speak.

See Runaways being in my local library and the size of a tanky on and having an anime-esque aesthetic (and let’s be real story) was the thing that got me into comics back in like 2007. I love that series to the end of the world and back because of it.

I am wondering, do you think Galacta could’ve worked as a „modern version of the Silver Surfer“? Not in the sense of power or position, but moreso as the „voice of the writer“? With Silver Surfer, he was known to be the „mouthpiece of Stan Lee“ and was basically being a narrator to the Marvel Universe, but he was also far more formulaic and talked far more regal-ish. If Marvel went the route and made something similar, like a narrator to the audience but with a more modern vocabulary and style added to it, do you think it could’ve worked out with her?

I read the Galacta mini-series. It was a pretty quirky and fun read. The funny thing is that this character was part of the mainstream universe a few years back, but because she wasn't used in Marvel media until recently with their hero shooter, her adventures were placed outside Earth-616 fairly recently. It's nice to see Galacta back in action and hopefully she'll play a key role in later events now that more people have eyes on her.

Omg!! Sweet Paprika cameo!! Mirka Andolfo is, personally, one of the few ero-adjacent industry artists that can convince me that horniness and pent up tension makes for genuinely outstanding drama and character work. The feeling of having suffered trauma and time leaving you with a kink in your back, the pain returning now and again to nag at you until your body suddenly makes an accidental twist, and the most rousing relief washes it all way - That is what Sweet Paprika accomplishes, in all of it's enjoyably raunchy frivolity. I'm not accounting for *online* ero artists though, whom are a different breed entirely and would also serve well enough as a conversation for their own video imo.

Anime and manga influence is only going to grow and be more noticeable in western media. As fans of anime are growing up artists, writers, more influence in media. And that love and influence is showing. I'm stoked for more amazing art and stories. We're already seeing it in western comics and animation movies the past few years. And it's awesome.

Galacta is the type of character that should be used in new media. Near-forgotten and in need of a new take. Imagine a Darkhawk game being made, and the potential it could carry. I may not be a huge fan of Galacta, but her appearance in Rivals brings hope to other characters who dont have much of a spotlight.

Seems like a character you could take in a ton of different directions, really surprised more hasn't been done with her. The child of Galactus feels like a conceptual slam dunk even if that one-shot was just middling fanservice.
