Without a core roster of heroes on prime earth (616) to start from, the idea of secret wars and so forth doesn't make any sense. The whole point of these things in the comics was to take popular comics characters and team them up in an ultimate battle royale. You can't have that when most of these characters don't exist. Not to mention the earth 616 universe basically represents the story continuity of the comics themselves, versus alternate stories represented by alternate universes. Those other universes were always disposable because the main story continuity is the only one which needs to stay intact, meaning the main 616 heroes always have to come out on top. It makes no sense to even have alternate universes when most of the heroes don't exist on earth 616. The X-Men were always part of the Fox continuity and therefore they work fine as a part of that Fox universe, but trying to fit them into the MCU earth 616 is where the problem starts.

While that is a problem it’s the only logical route they can go which is why I don’t see marvel live action surpassing marvel animation. They’re not as limited to what they can do.

@@teelotus3326 The problem is you can't have an "Avengers universe" with no Avengers team, which is what you have in the MCU right now. Which is totally not like the comics because the Avengers comics always had an Avengers team to keep that story going.

Boys has been pretty good. Thinks Josh is just hitting his “Dad era” where he just doesn’t find stuff cool anymore. It was inevitable lol. Frenchies arc has been pretty pointless, that’s about it imo.

Thats actually not a bad idea when someone subscribes before you knight them you have a lil button, it'll just have a pop up of you holding the sword they forge tapping the shoulders of a mannequin (definitely not iron man) knighting them as a new memeber. Also Alice is Ramseys ancestor for sure I can't unsee it now

The worst part about that analogy with Alicent and OF is that Alicent is actually more qualified for the Job she would let someone who understood war lead the war effort and both of her Sons think themselves commanders. But shit she deserves it should've just let her Best Friend become queen and she would've had even more power than she has now.

I guess I don't have standards for enjoying MCU content and don't sit around my office staring at viewrship numbers and all that. I am a Marvel die-hard and strongly agree with your overall view of how Phase 4 was handled and how on board the struggle bus they are, but at the same time, I can sit down, watch their content and appreciate it for what it is and for what it can potentially do for future storylines. - Opinion of an MCU die-hard fan who has 0 standards for what my expectations from Marvel Studios should be.

I want to see Steve and Wolverine fighting together, I want Tony and Beast trying to solve things together, ect. That's all I'm saying. I really do like the trailer for cap 4 and I like Sam

1:18:46 how can you say that the mcu isn’t dead currently but you’re saying they should cancel everything they have coming out. Josh only cares about 2 avengers movies. If the mcu isn’t dead it’s definitely on life support since all you can tell us is fan boy dreaming about what they should be doing and u don’t even know if you’re on board with avengers 5 if they keep it kang dynasty so you’re only really interested in one movie secret wars and that’s not enough to say the mcu isn’t dead it’s literally nothing interesting coming
