Stolas' voice (broadway)actor was actually crying as he sung this last ballad. And he did it in one take.

I'll admit. Stolas was one I couldn't really get behind at first. I'm usually down for some gay rep in a show, but he did cheat, so it felt pretty shady. now, knowing the reasons why he cheated, I'm all in on the Stolas train. I just want to cuddle him and give him tge love he deserves that he seemingly never had his whole life!

As revealed in the end credits, Stolas' father is Paimon. Unlike in the show, he is usually depicted as a man riding a camel. While different works credit him with different titles, in the Ars Goetia, he is one of the nine kings of hell, the same rank Asmodeus holds, too. Though since he does not represent any of the 7 Deadly Sins, I think it's likely that, while being a high ranking demon, he is not on the same level as Asmodeus in this show, as well (though that's just a theory for now). He is usually portrayed as being highly knowledgeable about the world. In some versions, he can even see the past and the future. Lastly, he is said to be quite loyal towards Lucifer.

21:23 Someone translated the ACTUAL Runinc symbols of the book, and Asmodean Crystals are given to Succubi/Incubi by the Lord of Lust as a means to access the mortal world. The way Stolas looks at it, it seems he was going to "propose" to Blitz with one, so he (Blitz) would no longer need the Grimoire, and maybe he and Blitz could just leave and never look back. Or, Stolas could just run away by himself, which would prompt Octavia to go searching for him in the human realm (Hence the trailer shots)

Laminitis is a real thing for sure. When horses eat too much(not just sugar) they get issues with their intestines which eventually causes inflammation in their hooves leading to that their ¨legs stops working¨ . It's very painful for the horse and many cases they're put out of their misery because of it. I grew up with horses and experienced it a couple of times, its quite unpleasant

A little detail I also noticed is that Stolas has been bowing to Blitz since day one.

Gotta give it Jafar, he at least put effort in getting the clown boy his son actually liked, so he didn't have to deal with him, it isn't a lot of effort, but it's some. Also glad you caught on Blitzo inheriting his dad's puppy eyes. Also stolas inherited his dad's excitement for the circus while his child is depressed lol

Whoever they cast to play the kid versions did very good jobs at capturing the mannerisms of the characters.

You know, I realized something watch your reaction that I missed in the original video... When Blitzø tells people he changed his name, people normally ask him 1000 and 1 questions or straight up just don't refer to him how he wants to. Stolas immediately uses the name Blitzø preferred, without questioning it, even while preoccupied with thinking about sex. Despite outranking him and not hearing from him in 20 years, Stolas still showed Blitzø respect.

After this episode, I will forever consider Stolas to be a Disney Princess. He passes the Disney Princess test so it cannot be denied at this point. Also, I had the same reaction as Kirby did with Blitz and Stolas. It was definitely getting hot when this episode was made and watched. I was cheering for Stolas at the end of this episode as well.

Can you imagine how stressful it must have been for Stolas to finally stand up for himself? I still can't stand arguments, even when I am right, I still start shaking! Did you have to do that Plant Talk Experiment in School too? We had 3 plants: One doesn't get talked to, one gets positive vibes and the last one got verbily abused. First one was normal. Second stayed small. Third grew like on steroids! So either the Theory is wrong, the last one grew out of spite, or it was a masochist plant.

My all time favorite character from Helluva Boss will always be Fizzarolli and seeing how innocent he was as a kid makes me intrigued as to what happened to him

at first i thought stolas & blitz' relationship was just a gig and i didnt want to get my hopes up (rep-wise) and it looked like he was cheating on stella just bc he wanted to. but now seeing the backstory im invested, very very invested i wanna see them both get the love they deserve

7:06 I have thoughts on this one, for me at least, this scene might be a really big RED FLAG. Why? This might be a hint, as well as foreshadowing on how Fizzarolli may have lost his limbs. Let's break down the interactions between the two balloon horses. The worm horse lost its legs in the "great pirate war", worm horse fought back against its assailants, the worm horse tried to run away, only to be caught up by said assailants, leading to them taking worm horse's limbs. Next banana pudding helps worm horse feel better, then apparently more blood. Now why do I think this might be a RED FLAG? Let's think for a bit, the story might be over dramatisized, but here are my thoughts, Blitzo and Fizzarolli in someway got into a fight, not with each other but with other people. My speculation is that the "great pirate war" might have been a rival circus. Maybe jealous of Fizzarolli's rising fame. Getting pushed back, Blitzo and Fizzarolli runs away, fleeing the fight. The assailants somehow caught up to them or just Fizz and proceeded to chop him up and take his limbs. That or maybe a burning tent of some sort, falling debris leading to pinned and broken limbs or lost limbs. After everything, Blitzo wanting to help his friend picks him up and tries to leave, somewhere there, an accident might have occurred causing Blitzo to have a white scar on the right side of his face, hence more blood.

13:26 - 13:35 You see, I had the same reaction here as y'all, and I believe that the reason for that is because this is very subtle foreshadowing. Blitz is uncomfortable with compliments, and has trouble believing they come from a genuine place of care, therefore he views any nice comment made towards him as sarcasm. Stolas in turn is unable to read between the lines of this exchange, and continues on, oblivious to the implications he unknowingly agreed to by not negating it. These are the same type of misunderstandings happening in their adult relationship in the present, which have left them to where they are now, unable to communicate and miserable when they both want more, and they're both at fault. Very VERY subtle, but I don't think I'm reaching too far with this theory.

Stolas is a demon in Judaism. Supposedly Solomon used the Goetian (sp?) demons to build his empire. Stolas was an owl demon who was an expert on the stars, prophesies, herbs and medicine. Vivziepop tried to do her best to stay religiously accurate to her characters.

Only now do I notice the contrast with the crystals. Blitzo first has some legitimate fun with Stolas under the chandelier, after he's been sold off by his manipulative Father. Stolas shoots sparks into the air during his song later on. Now, he's gonna get Blitz an Asmodean crystal so he'll have access to the mortal world without relying on him, just to show his feelings are real. The crystals were there during Blitzo's 'enslavement', and now a crystal might potentially set him free from his trauma.

I didn’t have time to really go in-depth in advance like I normally do. But I’ll give you what I do have. So this episode really helped justify my analysis of Blitz’s and Stolas’ relationship. Stolas is more or less oblivious to how an actual relationship functions. From his throne, to his marriage, to pretty much everyone he knows is FORCED to act a certain way around him. With the SOLE exception of Octavia his daughter. (Who he notably smiled at when he went to check on her the night of the party.) Blitz DID feel regret about stealing the Grim Moire from someone who trusted him and turned it into a “business” transaction. And yes Stolas did figure it out why they had the transaction pretty much immediately after, but didn’t recognize it as a problem to their relationship. Hence to why the end of the Ozzie episode played out the way it did. Blitz and Stolas DO have a path forward, but the same thing I said last time stays true. Stolas needs to understand he wants more out of a relationship with Blitz and has to provide him an option instead of demanding it like he has been doing through most of the show. Especially since Blitz has lost so much already from a family that he no longer has, and Vizarolli his performing partner. Not to mention whatever gaslighting he’s endured from not just them, but also Verosika when they dated. (There’s a LOT of signs she did much more to Blitz to hurt him and he’s quiet about it.) At the very least both are out of their toxic relationships and both will likely have to save each other from what remains of it. Also this is absolutely slowly turning into group watching and analyzing porn judging by how this episode went. Jesus Christ. They went so far I’m surprised they didn’t just take the next step. XD

I'm not sure as to how knowledgeable Kirby is on demonology and the occult, but, Andras is considered to be one of the most violent demons in hell and, like Stolas, is one of the 72 pillars. Since Stella mentioned Andras, I'd imagine Stolas' situation with her might go from bad to worse now that she's attempting to get Andras involved.
