F10 and F12 had the sweetest clutch. When I first drove one it was so different to anything I'd ever been in before.

Best units ever the F10 & F12 of this era.

All the old beasts look like scrap.....only coz they have done there work and......well. Would love to see how many new lorry's today are been restored in 40+ yrs time. In a sad way a old pal of mine (passed on sadly) would of loved that Volvo, he would of ripped it to bits bolt by nut.....and rebuilt it with only the nuts n bolt that would of chucked in his bucket..... Old school...chap, loads of banter, but very good with lorry's. Hay wish you all the best with the huge adventure ahead.

Confused as to why you didnt put the 4X2 on backwards so you could get it further down the trailer, then have them cab to cab, possibly eliminating the huge overhang? I'm not a revovery op, just seems far more logical.

Yeah it looks a fun project but their scrap I just saw the state of all the lorries at Shirley’s yard I know where it is cuz I use to live in swynnerton not far from it ! All the nice scanias they have etc why do they keep all this scrap

15:53 LOL smashed the F10 into the ramp and destroyed the bumper and headlights. That F10 will never see the road again. It's way too far gone. Both working full-time too so there'll be no time to fix it up and restorations always take 100x as long as you think. They'll have a tinker with it a couple of times, realise they've bitten off more than they can chew, and it'll get dumped back in the corner of the yard and left to continue rotting. The boyfriend has already lost his sh it with her over it anyway and they haven't even started it yet lol.

Think you should of stayed at home,all you done is whinge you are cold,not well.
