And that’s how you end a video, BAM!!! Congrats on the new shop location. You guys are doing it and don’t let ANYBODY say different. I chimed in on the watercraft journals video. There’s stuff that I agree on and there’s alot that I don’t. So is it better to go through several heat cycles at different speeds through a little bit of time or just start off doing an 5hr endurance ride balls to the wall? I know the answer and so does any engine guy or girl. But the people who put mailbox numbers on their $15k+ (sorry had to bag on your customer, lol) or go to Walmart to buy their life vest have no clue. Remember… the engineers that put that into the manuals are also the same guys who designed the gtx limited with the electronic suspension. Also they do have to put some calculations into it to hopefully have a long lasting product bc the Walmart lifevest guy isn’t going to remember how to do the proper heat cycles. They can barely remember what ski they have. I know this bc I was once a service manager and tech at a huge dealership and people would come in and tell what they had and they were way off. Riva isn’t the be-all end-all. Yes they have been around and they put out a solid product but that doesn’t mean nobody else can’t and you’ve proven that. So all the haters should be going to Rivas KZfaq channel and bitch to them as well, bc I’m sure the limited edition stage+ skis don’t have 5-10hrs on them before the customer buys them. And if they did, I’d be furious with them bc I just bought a USED ski for NEW money. Next what if the ski comes in stock with 25hrs on it, then it gets modded, then the customer flushes it wrong and burns up the engine. Do you need to put all the stock stuff back on after you rebuild the ski? F…. no!!! Man, sorry I got a little fired up at this. Don’t let the haters or Star Trek people fire you up.

Man, really wish you had opened a shop around Augusta Ga area. This is an untapped oil field when it comes to jet-skis! And really no one to work on them. I do my own stuff... running Riva stage 2 with ribbon delete and thru hull exhaust. There is no ocean here, but Augusta is right next to an 70,000 acre lake, Clarks Hill, a lake that is also connected to the Savannah River!!! There is an ass of skis in this area! Then you have lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee less than 2hrs away....$$$ big $$$ areas, million dollar homes and alot of celebrities/college football coaches own property on these lakes! Put a shop in right spot in this area?!!!👀 $$$$$ and you would be the only one!!!

His site has manufacturer news and reviews of skis , not engine builds. I like your education stuff and how to since I do my own repair and live 3,000 miles from your shop! And I like Seadoos innovation as they are first on about everything. You are great example of the explosive growth possible with social media. I look at both sites but for different reasons. It really boils down to he is someone who makes his living testing, reviewing and talking about other peoples stuff and things other people do. He doesn't have to do anything himself, come up with any solutions for problems he thinks something has or how something is done. That is the whole problem with review channels in general, your basically getting one guys opinion on a subject. Your just trusting he's an expert. Hell Google got him beat these days. With a PWC review channel you have a whole other problem, skis only come out for a few month of the year. You gotta come up with SOMETHING to talk about, might as well talk about what more popular people are doing! That will pull more views than review videos about a ratchet strap!😆 Keep doing you, we all love watching!

I watch you guys drive these things all the time without the seats on them. I get it that it’s for cooling, but if I put a stage X, Y, or Z does that mean that I’m gonna have to ride around all day without a seat? Or risk overheating?

Julio, I'm in the process of finishing my 2018 RXP-X 300. With everything I've done to it, it should be stage 4. I've talked with Riva and they said I shouldn't need a upgraded fuel pump. But after watching this episode, you installed a upgraded fuel pump on a stage 3. Do you think I'll be running lean with the stock fuel pump on a stage 4 tune?

Every setup will vary from company to company. If you're using riva setup I would recommend you go with what they requiring, they know their setups better than anyone.

Well said. I have a 21 gp1800 and at 1 hour I said I want a turbo kit and want it to do 100mph and that's what a company did for me. Haters gonna hate

I guess your right time flies my Sea-Doo is 22 years old. I guess no chance a 2000 GTX RFI would do 88mph

Only on a trailer, lol The old 2 smokers were a lot harder to get the speeds up. No where close to what is going on now. Just save money on maintenance.

I watched the video where the correct breaking procedure was outlined by what directly came from Rotax Engineers I'm sure. Is it the most reliable way? Not going to argue with the engineers who designed the thing. If a customer wants to take it and rip it from day 1 I would advise them of the possible consequences and then do what they want. Period. If i was selling tires, footballs or whatever. I'm sure the science behind what Sea-Doos recommends is correct I mean this is the designers of the engine in question. But if a customer chooses to disreguard and do as he pleases, he bought and paid for it. It is theirs. Part of the time frame Sea Doo requests is for longevity I'm sure. If you are putting a high performance kit on it longevity goes out the window. Now if you want speed, you get your wallet out and pay to play. It is what it is. JP does not slap a new wheel and flash the ECM if you ask for a new wear ring, he provided a service for a customer. He just did what customer asked. Sea Doo has told customers not to run the thing out of water or it will kill the carbon seal, wonder if they replace a few of those every year? hahahha. If the carbon seal is aligned and you take care of it they last a long time. Mine has. People so bent out of shape about what someone else is doing anymore... I bought mine to have fun on.

For skis that have a lot of crank case pressure, it's a great way to keep all those contaminants out of the intake tract.
