The much-talked-about Korean soul-searching game 'The Falsehood of P' is now available on MacBook! You can download and run the game directly from the Mac App Store right now. While many users don't have high expectations for 'game' play on MacOS, the actual gameplay experience was quite stable. I was able to defend 60 frames on the M2 Pro chip, which is roughly the middle of the road for Apple silicon, and the latency with controllers (PlayStation and Xbox) was acceptable given the responsive nature of the genre. This is in line with Apple's recent emphasis on the "gaming" part of its products, including the iPhone 15 series and MacBooks. So why is Apple emphasizing gaming performance now? In this video, I unpack the spots I see while playing The Falsehood of P on a MacBook!
