Sad for Brighton. They couldn't control the midfield and let their attackers show their potential. Roma had a very good team with some in form world class players

Exactly, Roma has a very good squad unlike what Mourinho was selling to the press. I mean Dybala and Lukaku are 2 top players, they are at Roma only for a serie of circumstances otherwise they could be playing for any top club in Europe.

Lukaku shape this year would never play over M Thuram. He would be benched all day long with the same game minutes that Sanchez and Arnautovic get. He s not consistent as he was with Conte and he will never be. In PL maybe a mid table club will do for him, not a higher one

As a Roma fan I really admired the confidence and gameplay that Brighton showed tonight. De Zerbi is a top coach and with top players he can win anywhere. Tonight his team showed its limits with silly mistakes and lacking decisive passes.

@userjim83 he literally got the team to Europe with a bunch of nobodies. Remember de zerbi finished higher than Klopp in his first two years. De zerbi with Brighton and Klopp with liverpool. Then they got Robertson van dijk salah and Allison. So obviously he took ot to the next level. Even guardiola didn't do nothing with man city his first year.

Whoever is criticicing him either didn't see the match or is a complete clown. Roma deserved the win, Roma played better, yet the result is false. He is still playing football with a very mediocre team at the moment. Roma is clearly the better team between the two.

Interesting as even De Rossi, at the post match interview, admitted that he's learning from De Zerbi and he considers him a top tier coach. They lost mainly due to their lack of experience with European football.
