Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. PK is the most unpredictable player I've seen. He'll either pull off a worldie strike or skill, or sit down 3 defenders and then pass it to the keeper 😂 Love the guy

Cornish is such a quality player man, very unlucky to not get more game time this year but the midfield is just stacked

Pedro has the best technique on the team. So good to watch. Tomo is the most underrated player in Hashtag history, always has been great.

Just to play devils advocate, the defence has been the joint fifth worst in the league, where do you think the weak links are at the back?

@@hughosullivan1647 Too many injuries and bad luck. When Haysom and Tomo were out we conceded a lot. The weakest link is GK, Striz is just ok for the level, not a difference maker.

@@rtorres27not necessarily disagreeing with you here, but they have still conceded a lot as a pairing and I don’t think Striz can be blamed for a lot of goals conceded. Our defence started out really well this season, I think confidence dropped for a period but I do think we are a really solid centre back away from competing at the top of the table next season, just my opinion

Well played lads, starting to put chances away which is good to see. If Sam Cornish gets the pre-assist, does Devs get the pre-pre-assist for "Round the corner, go big!" shout?. Those kinds of instructions are so helpful when you are being pressured with the ball, and we hear Devs tell the boys all the time to give each other information. Love to see it.

Pedro is such a talented player for this level, and he very well knows that, however he is too cocky and thinks he can get past everyone whereas he could have easily made an easy pass so the team can press forward and attack quicker. If he improves that part of his game then great things will happen not just to him, but the team too.UTT

Tom Beer from SE Dons! Great performance lads. Firing in all cylinders now. I remember the tags needed a season in the Isthmian North to settle (finished 8th or 9th I think) before winning it the next season. Couple of signings away from challenging next season!

things happen..."sometimes its a goal kick." 😄 The skills on display - F'ing amazing. Unlike my own team who should win a title soon,# always have me on the edge of my seat. Great off the ball running, great through balls, Fannytastic wing play, midfielders in the box, ... etc etc it never stops. Shame about the lack of clean sheet. That $1 million should be a shoe in.

Third most goals scored in the league yet we’re 9th! Crazy stat when we think back to the start of the season and our lack of goals. If we had turned a few of those draws in to wins we’d be right up in the playoff mix. Bring on next season and TST! And of course Chatham on the 17th for our first ever cup win
