Later in the evening we join our friends for dinner, and then celebrate River's birthday.
We have so much to do!! But it is a beautiful day, so why not go out and enjoy the sunshine? Joel and I put aside all of our chores and headed out to the beach. It was a great decision because it was the only nice day to get some sun before our vacation started.
That evening, we ventured to our friend's house, Mel and Sam, where Mel prepared an incredible meal. It is a treat whenever we hang out with friends in Saudi Arabia. It makes the days go by faster and makes them more enjoyable.
The next day was all about River! Our little ray of sunshine turned nine. She has completed our family in many ways and brightens up every day.
