DISCLAIMER: This isn't a hate video. Before joining skyblock I played islands for hours on a laptop I had before my PC. This was about 4 years ago and honestly it holds second place for games I wish I could go back to. I don't hate the game, as a matter of fact I love it. As it is now it's not as fun as it was when I started playing, but that's probably because it's been 4 years and I'm not 14 anymore. Regardless, all of that to say this video isn't meant to hate on the game. My homies hate it but they just don't have the same connection to it as I do.
Anyways this video took me a few days to do, and wouldn't exist if I didn't have to leave for a week. I just wanted to try something new and this happened to be fun and easy enough to get out before I had to go.

In all honesty, and to be fair, islands isn’t just a rip off, the creators are infact in good terms with hypixel And as someone who plays both, I can tell you the play style is very different

I played islands when it first released and was called SkyBlock, they were pretty much the same except minions were a lot more confusing with the totems

@@georgemcintyre1633 yeah, like the first year of Skyblock (now called Islands) was good, then it went into a downfall because the creators decided that giving 95% of the attention into working into Bedwars was better.

Islands is not a rip off of hypixel skyblock it was just a skyblock when it started from what I know. However you need to rember hypixel did not make skyblock they changed what you think of when you hear skyblock. Also it’s only a ripoff of hypixel skyblock if it has there items and islands just having mining islands and pics does not make it a rip off

I played islands before I could play hypixel sb without lag, now I play hypixel sb. Honestly I wouldnt have played it if I didnt play islands a lot, I think islands for that.
