It would really go over in USA cuz all properties are being bought up as it is here by Chinese because everyone just thinks of themselves and the money, no thoughts to why China is doing it, and no current government (2024) has the common sense to deal with it, so ..... In my small town, we literally have a chinese restaurant that is called China. Downtown buildings, and one of em has big flashy neon sign "China." Other properties in town also, registered owners address in China. In 20 years, we will reap our stupidity.

You missed an opportunity: 1) get a Chinese person to help you out, dress them in a suit 2) have them speak to you in broken English, but clear enough to be understood 3) have them say things like "we're going to bulldoze this shitty little town and make a tonne of money" 4) have an Australian interpreter who then translates to "this project will generate economic growth" 5) rinse and repeat They would have lost their minds.

I used to live in the county of Beauford, South Carolina, USA. The crazy thing is, they pronounce in "Be-yu-ford!" Ridiculous, I say! 🤣 But there is a McDonalds there, not sure if that is a good thing or not. It only has ONE floor!
