A few weeks ago I was playing Volcanic Triple 7s which has three must hit progressives. The grand was at $960 and was must hit by $100. It took me 3 spins to hit. Good times.

I understand the challenge, shows the variation of the different games. Non-challenge aside, I would have stayed on the Eagle machine, still would have lost but hey it seemed to be the daily pick for excitement.

These videos play with my confidence. They teach us 1% rule. But $5 per spin on $100 is pretty risky for me at least. I don't think I could play that high on that budget. But you did good on Eagle Bucks. 😃 I probably would have lost on every machine at $5 a spin.

His bankroll was $400 if you just factor in what we see in the video (4 machines X $100). In that case he was betting 4%. However his bankroll may have been much larger and we are just seeing 4 games out of a whole session. In which case he may have been betting much less than 1%.

What happened to the 'holds and nudges' in fruit machines?

I eventually learned not to fall into that trap. I noticed that as I got closer to that must hit amount, the number of hits to move that counter slowed greatly. I did get once, but that was it.

Hiya - in a similar spot with an Eagle Bucks (which btw never acts like the one he played - maybe I should go to Shoshone Rose 🙂). Did you figure out how many pennies are added per $100 played?

It never slows. It goes up 1 penny every $2.5 spent no matter how close or far It is. Those games are unplayable unless they are within $15 of progressive. Closer the better

@ilovenoodles7483 because advantage games are my thing. You can't take advantage of a game unless you know the math on Ainsworth, lobster Larry, coyote moon, $ storm and other must hit by. When i get the math right then I make $ multiple times a day most days. But I see people get the math wrong or don't k ow what the math is. They sit at those get way too early and take the advantage away. If you play advantage games and need to pull $ out the ATM. You are doing it wrong. I have not pulled $ out Tha atm since August 2022 and advantage play has been my only source of income since December 2022. Pay attention to the AP games you play. They tell you all you need to know

My favorite of these types Aisnworth is Dollar Chief it seems extremely low volatile and I had hit many jackpots on it with minimum bets including the Major, unfortunately my local casino took out almost all of these Ainsworth machines about a month ago including the Dollar Chiefs.

Quick question - am I right to say there is no economic advantage in switching machines after hitting a goal? You are playing at the same denomination and machines with similar volatility. If you keep playing after reaching, say, your $200 goal, you may as well stay at the same machine as they have no memory of your previous play. It's just for variety right?

For the game and scatter free spins, I would say yes. But maybe not for the progressives. Each of the four machines would have a different value to hit for the progressives. No way to know if it is about to hit, unless you try.

I usually play this at 1.25 a spin on 5 lines to start. Usually double my money. I do favor the 10 lines though at 2.50 a spin. My 100 lasts longer and I usually hit the bonus at least once, and that’s all you need to get ahead with thunder cash

Question please I noticed that you guys bet $5 or $10 with the must hit by machines, is it because of the 5 lines you need to bet $5 or more to get all 5 lines? Or can you bet $1-2 and it would still trigger line hits and bonus? Thank you! Love your videos

Thanks for all your great videos! Question for you: My local casino has a bank of these machines, at $1 denom. My bankroll doesn’t accommodate the $5 pull it would take to get 5 lines for a proper session, but I could do single line at 1$. Would you recommend giving single line a shot, or waiting until the bankroll is ready for a $5 pull?

This was a good challenge, but it also showed that the "must hit by" progressives are a little more volatile and probably need more than $100 to play it, maybe double that in order to give yourself a chance at hitting a bonus. I think this is something to consider before playing these machines to see if the budget allows for it. To me it's basically akin to a $5, 2-coin in machine.

Those aren't must hit by progressives, which are the most common. Those can go at any time and don't have to hit by a certain amount.

It means what it says. Must hit by $500 means it can hit anytime before $500, but it Must hit by $500.
