Help us choose our house paint color! We are SO ex-sided to finally get siding up on our house. We've been stalling for many reasons but its finally time to get it done! Megan also tackled painting in the bathroom and finishing that room up before family comes into town for the holidays!

Love the no2. I felt a bit chocked up when Mike was so proud of the little bubble on the level. You guys must be so proud of yourselves for building such a precious gem for you and your Children for years to come. Everything is beautiful.

That's what I was screaming the whole time!!! Plus when it rains, you can unload groceries right into the 3-season porch and kids can help take in. Plus a good area to chill since no "back porch/patio" area.

2 is my vote. I think it blends with brick when it’s wet but also picks up the darker parts of the brick when it’s dry. Can’t wait to see it all done. I love that you are sharing your experience and especially when you let us see you try new things and learn new things.

You guys have accomplished so much in such a relatively short amount of time! It all looks so well done. Great job Mike with learning all the various tasks! You definitely take on challenges well! Kudos Mike to lining it all up! Good work. I like color #1. Better contrast to the brick. I don’t like when different materials are too similar tone. One will look good with the white fence too. The white is jarring on the darker two. The palest pink could also be used as an alternative to the white.

You guys are the bomb, Mike not having experiences in home construction has really done a great job, bc your very consciences about doing the job & don’t do shortcuts & completed it to the end. You’ll get there & this to shall past & look back & have a very satisfaction that your renovation was done by the two of you & what gratification you both will have with your children. “You both are great parental examples of endurance & not wasteful in taking life for granted .’’ … 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼 gee, #2 is nice, you can change it a year later for a fresh look again … 👍🏼

As soon as you applied #2 colour, I said.. YES!. I'm with Mike on that one. Your hair is gorgeous. Mine is just past my shoulders and I pull it back into a lazy bun that sticks out all over.. at home. When I go out, I will wear it down and the sides pulled up and back, or into a high pony, and if wearing a hat, I'll pull it back into a low pony. I always had straight hair, and now the past few years, my hair has developed a curl, right from the top down. So strange to have now what I always wanted when I was young.

for me colour wise it would have to be 2 or 3 but leaning more toward 3 as it will fade over time - Love Pearls comment about the shower curtain - what a great daughter

Gosh I adore you guys! Looking fabulous. I was leaning towards one or two. When the bricks are wet definitely two, so perhaps go with two so it still matches in Winter? No matter what you choose it’ll be great. Just an idea, as your family like to be where the action is, what about doing a larger deck? Then Mike won’t feel crammed it when using the BBQ? No matter what you go with it’ll look fabulous.

I LOVED that first shower curtain because it looked like something from Rifle but it's not like you can't easily change out a shower curtain. I exclaimed out loud "Great job Mike!!" after finishing the siding. For sure shows all your hard work and experience as well as all those tortured hours of research!! In regards to the siding paint color I love either option 2 or 3. For sure options 1 or 4 to me as a viewer look pink and they are pretty but I guess with either 2 or 3 since they are darker they will hide dirt and fair weather and wear better? Regardless this whole project what a great job~!!! Hope you all have a happy, safe and peaceful Thanksgiving. Hugs from Western Massachusetts

I vote for color #2. You guys remind me of my husband and I when we were remodeling our home. My husband always thought a project would take a day and it always took at least twice as long as expected. We did all the fun stuff you have done also, learning along the way, tiling, siding, flooring etc. My husband also did stenciling for me because he saw how hard it was for me to do. I cherish all of those memories now because my husband is gone , but even though I know the stenciling is very outdated, i can't bear the thought of painting over it. He was like you also, he would get agitated at certain parts in the project and I knew to back off. But we ended up with a home with so many memories!

Mike you did a fantastic job putting up that siding. I remember years ago when we built our three car garage on our rambler, We had never done siding before either, it's the best feeling when you get it done. Megan the the bathroom is looking so good your whole home is pretty. My mom watches your channel as well. And we get on the phone and we always talk about how you have an eye for putting things together. You're giving me ideas to paint my trim in my house. My Rambler is 39 years old. We still have one bathroom. I have 5 bedrooms and we didn't have as many children, we did have lots of activities here. I just want to say your videos are always so fun to watch and we appreciate you.

I had the same issue with exterior mortar repairs on a 1970s pink brick home. I took the foundation paint, thinned it with water and painted the raw gray mortar with the wash. It absorbed into the lines beautifully. I did a couple of passes until it matched. I also have a large dated pink brick fireplace. I want to paint it, but husband said 'no!" So I took the wall paint, thinned it with water and repainted the mortar. It has blended into the wall and is much less noticeable. You could do the same with your salmon exterior paint. A project down the line! Love your continued enthusiasm! Great job!

I'm half way through the video and hopefully not commenting too early. Great team effort on the projects. Sorry that there were falls on the steps and so grateful no hospital trips. I have done that and knocked myself out, so its scary, a hand railing is the best. I love 1 and 2 paint colours. 1 is the prettiest but 2 will give the stronger scandi timber cottage vibe. The reason I'm only repeating what a lot of the other subscribers have said is to add that I would continue the paint colour onto the brick. There are pros and cons. But I love the look of painted brick and it would take the 60's brick vibe back to a cottage.

My opinion, especially after the power washed brick, is no. 2. I can't imagine a house with no. 1 pink on it. 2 and 3 look about the same on camera. LOVE YOUR WORK! I enjoy your videos so much!
