I hope you’re still making videos, you explain things well, which is greatly appreciated, especially when it comes to how my brain works or the lack of it or there of. Question and using your example as reference: I have a die cut that didn’t have the cut edges all the way around the cut rectangle. It is supposed to go on the sides of the rectangle box I have cut with that die. When I went to cut the pieces that are supposed to go on the two sides of the rectangle, I didn’t get a perfect cut around all of the edges. Okay, let me try a bit harder to explain. The piece of paper has layers of X’s and O’s for like a valentine box. When I had put it on the red piece of paper to cut it out, it didn’t have any cut edges that would go completely around the rectangle. I just have a red piece of paper with lines of x’ and O’s. The left side has about an 1/8” of a red border and the right is about a 1/16” and the top and bottom being different like the first two. So, how would I make it a perfect rectangle with all of the sides being the same distance to the X’s and O’s? I’m serious. Once in awhile my brain will just stop working with the simplest things, so please don’t think I’m giving you the run around for a laugh or anything cause it’s so darn obvious on how to do it. My mind right now cannot do it and it couldn’t do it yesterday either. If you could please help me, I would appreciate it so much, I really would. And on the last note, please keep making videos, you’re good at it. We need you. Hope all is well and wishing one and all a beautiful day with lots of smiles and laughter. UPDATE: Okay, I had to ask the recipient of my gift to help me since I need it done pretty quickly and she was the only one home with me. After she had said, “I don’t know.” In frustration, I had figured it out. I have to measure from the X’s and O’s outward to put my mark and cut it all evenly doing it on all sides. The funny part? It had been me who had finally figured it out. I guess talking out loud does help in figuring things out. Who knew? I’m kidding with the last part. I’m sorry to have wasted your time and leave you thinking I’m a nut ball. I am still adamant on you making more videos. I look forward to watching your craft room when I’m all done with my projects for the night. It’s going to be a late one for sure. Take care and God bless.
