“Wow no bullet drop” from chat… You’re not getting bullet drop at 50-200 meters. They’re not that far from the targets.

Hopefully devs watch this and beef up the base AI by a ton.

What gives me so much hope about this game is the problems seem fixable. Things like listening to the demands to shoot from helicopters shows their intent to listen as well. Beefing up base AI or equipment seems easily doable. The fact that balancing tweaks and general request for more content like they’re making shows the game has a solid foundation. Definitely going to be watching this one develop

I think they need to add a "Hotzone" that rotates every 24-48 hours. Good loot, good AI with good gear, a boss maybe? That way it makes people go there to get said gear or for PvP. Kill contracts for said boss. "You have 48 hours to kill ---" that'd be Pog.

The difference is, the 7 day COntent creator test they wanted to do PVP because thats the style of game they play, its what gets them views. The Majority of people who will actually play this game after release will want to focus on the quests mainly and PVE side, with a little bit of PVP dabbled in. ITs good that it caters to both sides. They have said they will add more PVP focused Events, and AI focused events too.

I think a really good idea for heli is to be able to set secondary landing zones. If an enemy is within that first landing zone maybe 150m area you get a popup to fly to second LZ. As well as a popup at the second landing zone if enemy is nearby again, to either land or head back to base.

I 100% agree on the stance about PvP. PvP is what make or destroy those games.

This game is so much fun. I had a lot of fun the other day in the bunkers we were 3 fighting 17 of the other faction and we killer everybody and extracted and so SO SO SATISFYING, a lot more then tarkov for me. After 6 years there this is feeling so much better

I went from bottom base of the map to quest up near crimson and came across two crimson lads who I laid out pretty nicely but the fight itself was intense…PvP isn’t as frequent but when it happens it is SUPER worth the wait.

Awesome video! I do however like the factions and feels more immersive having different PMC factions trying to compete to complete missions, I believe they are hoping to add, at some point, territory in the map for players to contest and fight over. There definitely should be an AFK timer to kick people off the server.

"People aren't going to sink hours into this game with a heavy PvE focus" hey... how about we let them continue developing and show us what their actual vision is before making these assumptions? We don't even know exactly what the ground zero area will be used for yet. You have AI at base talking about "something being out there". They could be planning on making a really deep PvE system too with a supernatural twist. Not to mention, the full looting incentives aren't added in yet. Tasks bring you to places that other factions will be. That'll force PvP and once loot is more fleshed out it'll create more incentive to want to fight players. I just can't stand when people try acting like PvE focused games can't be popular... I think helldivers more than proved that's not true. It just needs to be done right.

Not gonna lie the bunker quest I ran into people Everytime I went to certain spots on the map he just did all the quests faster then everyone ive been pvping so much on quests even hunter paradise so much pvp

There are a LOT of games that aren't PVP oriented. Just because you only play PVP doesn't mean that is the entire mentality of the community.

I'm actually really enjoying the game myself so far precisely because of the PvE focus without having the opressive pressure of every other player trying to kill me xD and resetting my progress

The landing zones should be every field, allowing you to pick where in that field to land- to balance it you should just have to survey it like modern pathfinders do

Had 3 enemy players try to raid our base the other day, they managed to kill about 13 guards and then rush the gates, just to die to mortars or extra guards. Was insane for all the free loot though! The guards seem to respawn every 5 minutes and the mortars will go off constantly now! If you get within the guards vision cone.

what ammo are you using that your dropping bots and enemies that fast? I can literally put a whole mag almost point blank into a bot and they dont drop

I think they should add random live events that take place throughout the map like a control the point or extract a briefcase full of money, really just something worth the rewards, that would bring the pvp to life a bit more

I think the base AI should be rogue level deadly, a couple sitting on MGs. Not impossible to kill but would stop you from charging in like they did.

They should add POIs that you can capture that unlocks better quest, and gives you better loot in that area.

I think the helicopter spots are cool being dedicated spots because it’s the quickest but I think they should at a side by side ai driven that u take anywhere in your safe zone area

The developers need to add mines around the main base, a warning - so that players know that their base is under attack, and it is also necessary that after strengthening, all land entrances/exits are blocked automatically, and lastly, it is possible for AI bots to take mortars under control.

they should have a rope landing. where the heli is still flying. and then there are landing spots where you can get picked up. (because you can clear the ground before calling the chopper or hide and clear the area if there are to many enemies.) and then have a zone around POI's that are no fly zones. (to much enemy heat)

I like Gray Zone Warfare, and this being an Early Access release, it's only going to get better. The open world map with 3 different factions competing as teams but also having squad and solo experiences, awesome. I think the graphics are pretty good, and the gun play and movement mechanics are smooth, especially for this being an early access game. I understand the people being frustrated with their PC builds melting being unable to run GZW. My only concerns were the huge amount of negative reviews from people who never played GZW. Most reviewed the game as negative because their PC's couldn't handle rendering, and optimizations is non-existent in options. I hope people don't ruin this game based on certain gamers judging the games cliff notes(Early Access). I can't play Tarkov anymore. The cheating ruined it. Maybe Arena Shooter will replace Tarkov, too.

Also I easy fix for heli is be able to buy a uav in the chopper so it’s super quick shows you enemy’s and you can reroute your chopper to new lz but you can only do this for a short window before landing

no faction might be your preferance but there is a game like that already its called tarkov, this isnt tarkov..... some people like the dayz stlye pvp and the pve.

They need to put a passive mode on the landing areas when landing only not for extractions though

But the quest are what lead you to the higher end PvP zones and gives you reason to go there..

Would hate for a heli to land anywhere. I can only imagine the glitches/bugs/broken areas people will set up to do shit at. I think if anything, there should be WAY MORE LZ's distributed around the map. You got this giant ass mfkin map that no one in the sane mind would ever decide to venture through because the only active spots are LZ's and town areas since that's where the missions are that's where the players are. LZ's everywhere give dynamic ability to develop the map's gameplay. It makes it harder for LZ campers to decide which one to set up on. It's fair for them because they could set up to a hot LZ or just be sitting for hours at a dead one. People who spawn at base dying from LZ campers can let others know and mass collective coordinate new LZ areas that are safe so dying on LZ's doesn't happen AS often. But to just have instant YO HELI COME PICK ME UP ON THE EDGE OF THE MOUNTAIN OR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY HOME BOY! Is treading waters that I personally think and can only see being a massive fat bug bundle and abuse bundle. Having static LZ's is perfect for different types of gameplay but the amount they have is ridiculously low making it to where if there are at least like 2 LZ campers in each faction, they can all distribute to every LZ evenly.

i think it would be nice if theyre added something like king of the hill like DayZ server have... like imagine every 30-60mins you need to hold some area on the map and if you win that you get rewarded and the zone will move somewhere else

I think the mortars work now to counter this? I had it happen last night. But the mortars we killing everyone on the team too

I mean sure tutorial town had no pvp but that ybl1 place is packed 24/7 cos it has crazy ammo and gun spawns and has like 10mquests there it’s constant pvp

I don't necessarily agree with him on the pvp aspect... my friends and love the idea of the game being more pve focused. The few player fights we had felt ok but after getting tired of tarkov we love the relax, quest oriented gameplay. Players feel incredibly spongy at the moment as well.

They need to put in FOB that both factions can fight over and receive extra XP incentives if your factions has it capped that way the PVP aspect can be more interesting. Also more missions need to share the same AO’s.

I get wanting more pvp but this game is trying something different and I like it. People do like pvp but Helldivers 2 is/was doing really well with no pvp or any in the future. This combines both and doesn’t make pvp the primary focus like most games.
