Caglary’s food scene is full of unique and creative versions of this carnivorous staple: the burger. After years away from her hometown, Narcity’s Gina Louise Phillips came back craving some juicy patties. She set out to try a few of the most popular joints; a retro diner, a rooftop with a secret menu and… a food court. These burgers are racking up awards and are the go-tos for locals. Great video! Next time get the "Doug's don't fear the Reaper burger" at boogies. It's amazing, you can cut it in half and share it for sure, but I've eaten it about a dozen times by myself, because it is that good! It seems like it would be too much, but everything works so well together, probably the best burger in Calgary, to me. I eat it with a fork and knife because it is so big, don't be ashamed lol

Great video, I have been to Boogies Burger a few times and they have good food, I small parking lot is a bit of a down side. I haven’t been to the other burger places but will have to check them out. For a burger chain, it is hard to beat Fat Burger for taste, it is definitely a higher priced burger but I always love the taste.

Check out their Marda Loop location if you are ever in the south west, there is more park but the same tasty burgers and similar atmosphere.

Another few to try next time you come to town are flippin burger in Kensington, and Clive burger on 17th.. and check out Peter's, but get a double with the sauce and everything.. I saw a review from a guy a couple years ago and he skipped on the sauce, huge mistake.

Boogies is the best, I get a bacon and peanut butter shake when I'm there, it comes with a Boba straw to get the big chunks of bacon. We should team up next time you're in town, love a food adventure!

I am totally against Peters Drive in. All my friends and all my family used to go there. But about 80 of us no longer go there because we had a friend who had her car damaged by part of their building falling apart and they didn't even reimburse her and their insurance wouldn't even cover it. It was the worst customer service I have ever witness in my 50 yrs in Calgary.

I’m from up North and my brother introduced me to SouthStreet at Cross Iron and also took us to Clive’s. They were both awesome; been to southstreet numerous times.

Craft (Pigot’ burger). Instead of Craft, the name should be CRAP due to the poor quality of the burger. The meat was burnt. I told the waitress, she was reluctant to bring another. Finally she brought, it was burnt again. Regret that’s my feeling today. Go to Mac Donald’s, but do not try CRAF burger. Low low quality.
