The good news is that yes, good-ol' Challenger 3985 is going to be resurrected at some point, albeit during the steam programme's temporary hiatus as a result of the stupid COVID-19 crap, but again, they'll likely open back up, but with social distancing and mandatory face-coverings (preferably masks) enforced. So yes, 3985's coming back within a few years. But the sad news is that no, SP cab-forward 4294 is unfortunately not going to be earmarked for excursion service since it's on permanent display at the California state railroad museum. Oh well, at least we still have a cab-forward left in existence
