It is so good to have my weekly video back. There is nothing better than being able to watch the Video two or three times. The crowd seemed to be having a good time meeting up with the Drivers and I know the kids love hanging around the Drivers and seeing the cars close up. You talk about the dust, but remember it was at our last track as I was covered in it every meeting. It always depends on the wind and who cares its all part of Speedway. The happy looks on Drivers faces tells you what they think of the track and I was watching the Sedans enjoying being back racing. Maybe they might put on a couple of Winter races after they see how the next three meetings go. We can only hope. Thanks Toby.

Always love your videos, Toby! When you did your track measurement up at the highline, did you consider running the wheel on its side, against the wall? Would have less clay to clog it up that way. Admittedly still an issue for measuring the pole line.

I agree with you Toby about wanting it to be successful longer term ie it needs to be financially stable and I hope it will be as that benefits everyone, the promoters spectators and competitors etc. Understandably after the last experience and what happened after that will make people wary

If I didn’t see this video I wouldn’t have even known it reopened. Shame because had I known, I would have went to see it.

Congratulations on finally getting a well needed facility that was poorly built to this stage. Even with all the things still to improve on, Rome wasn't built in a day. Fingers crossed that when I'm in town I can finally go see it in person. Newcastle and Parramatta it ain't, yet. But I think when sponsors realise the size of the speedway community as a whole is massive, it shouldn't take long. As Toby said, money is the problem. If Wilmo has his way, it'll rock next season. From a spectators point of view I think it went off well, it just a pity the rain canceled the late models. Like I said elsewhere baby steps at this stage and build on the successes of this meeting. Looking forward to next season.
