Oscar freezing up in front of the bosses was great. It makes him more three-dimensional. He's invested in the company, and he's angry. He's one of the smarter people in his little town but in the big city he doubts himself. And he's got less vibrato speaking out in front of corporate, because unlike Michael, they wouldn't hesitate to retaliate against him and possibly fire him if he upsets them. It's a good reality check for someone who's got a big head and is a little full of himself.

Seriously. All the hype, I was so disapointed when I watched the episode and it was just an above average amount of Office cringe. I was expecting Scott to sponsor a child beauty paegent or some shit, instead he inspired a bunch of kids to pass high school when they wouldn't have otherwise.

Yea was like you paid a certain amount for, lets say, 100 texts a month and if you went over that limit it was 25 cents for every single text after that. It added up quick if you texted often. But this was also when texting meant tapping a button multiple times for each letter to make a word so a whole sentence took like a minute to type out. People weren't texting nearly as much back then as they are today because of that.

@@ryanheilman3807not necessarily true. During my first watch through I wasn’t aware of which episodes were the most popular. But Scott’s Tots was the only episode where I had to pause and take a lap around my house to regain composure. But people do overhype things very often.

Starting with Michael selling the county comptroller at Chilis in Season 2, one of the great overlooked talent of Michael, and he does have one, is his ability to sell. He is not a good leader, terrible at understanding other’s feelings, and has no abilities dealing with money…. But he can sell. He can s goofy but he does tamper the anger at the meeting. This episode really shows that it’s the alleged smart ones… the board, David Wallace, an ex- congressman… that are the clueless. Michael can achieve a goal if he knows what it is and involves selling an idea.After 6 seasons Michael is really the result of what happens in business. We promote a successful person in one field and think that can adapt in another. This happens all the time with people and companies. A very funny episode with a great reaction from all of you.

As an American that works in America, the company I work for recycles, but there is still so much unrecycled items(Trash bags and other things) that make it into a trash dumpster. And as companies group and expand there is more that goes into the wrong bins. Then there's the companies and people that don't care at all.

Fear of getting fired is one thing, but as a shareholder and employee he is literally invested in the company doing better. If they go bankrupt he loses twice. Also, it doesn't matter if you're from a small branch if you have a good idea, good ideas can come from anywhere; and coming from the most successful branch carries weight as well.

13:25 Personally I don't see how this is a punishment. You gave him a private room by himself and it still doesn't give him motivation to do the work. Also putting a worker in a closet is clearly a safety hazard. Ryan could easily use this to get Jim in trouble. Honestly if Jim really wanted to punished Ryan.
