@@Danimal28 That Chelsea owners look to profit from the club. When you spend a billion it doesn't make sense for anyone to say that this is a feeder club model. Caicedo and Enzo both cost over £100 million and nobody in his right mind thinks that Chelsea will be able to profit from selling them also Mudryk and Nkunku both were brought in for over £50 million and nobody with a brain can think that these players will be flipped on profit. I can name multiple other players that were brought in for big fees and that you can't expect to make profit on by selling them. Sure they also bring young players for small fees and some are brought in just for the purpose of getting a profit out of because the club must do smart business to be sustainable unlike the times of Roman when the club was violating FFP and getting banned. This Rory is such a muppet that he can only see half of the things being done and is completely blind to the whole picture. Club investments so far over a billion. Club sales £350 million roughly. Hardly something one can call a feeder club unless that person's name is Rory and they have no clue of what they talk about.

4:15 Exactly the reason i have zero respect for Rory's logic! How is it designed to squeeze as much money out of it when they spent a billion? how???? They aren't making a billion by selling the Gallagher of this world! They spent a billion and sold so far players worth of a total of £350 million which is good but nowhere near the amount spent! Brighton bought players for less than £10 million and sold them for £50-£100 million and that is what 'designed to squeeze all out of it' means! Rory is an absolute embarrassment.

Chelsea is owned by Clearlake Capital. AFAIK a Top50 Private Equity Companey which represents $100bil investment for their clients. They are bound to invest 2,5bil into Chelsea. And they wont spend a single penny more then that. They driving down the total cost of ownership(i.e. wages+fees). They made their invest into the squad by spending 1bil so far. Now its time to enter selfsustained transfer windows. Funded by Academy and Talents ment to be flipped when "developed"/bought in the first place. The remaining 1,5bil will be invested into the stadium at one point. They still have to figure out how to do it. Our matchday revenue is half od Uniteds!.During a revovation you loose seats. If you rebuild you need an alternative stadium for the home games with enough capacity which is availible at the time. And if you wanne move you have to find a new ground to build on. Which isnt easy nor cheap in London. Its no rocket sience how american investors doing their business. Within those 10yrs the owners cant take dividens, taking loans on the club nor sell it. Chelsea´s value has to exceed: The initial 4,5bil to buy. Total cost of ownership over the 10yrs. And ofc last but not least needs an anual ROI of +5%. So after 10yrs the Club needs to reach a valuation of +7bil pound(=~$9bil). Ambitious project when your starting point is 2bil. And as i said. There is not a single Penny to waste. Increase revenue/cashflow and cut down cost are the biggest priorities. If you want a chance to achieve your 10yr goal.
