i really don't think the truckers are gonna make the history books. However, hundreds of years from now people WILL still be learning about the hundreds of millions who died from this horrible pandemic. And i keep seeing this word "tyranny" thrown around in this comment section. I'm not sure a lot of these commentors know what tyranny means. This whole demonstration was about a few truckers' opposition to getting a covid vaccination before crossing the border. I'm not sure if ppl realize that you can't even visit many countries without having proof of certain vaccines/innoculations. Nor enroll in public schools for that matter. I'm an american, & we've got our share of antivaxxers here too. But that doesn't mean i want ppl coming over the border who are potentially spreading corona virus. What if i said - "hey a bunch of workers from a country where there's an ebola pandemic are coming to Canada but they refuse to get vaccinated for it"? You wouldn't consider it tyranny then if your gov't tried to protect you & your families by stopping them from coming until they were vaccinated right?

Something happened as the Freedom Convoy formed and started moving across the Continent. People came out in support. First dozens, then thousands, then tens of thousands. And seeing that changes you. Every trucker in Ottawa and in those blockades at the bridges and border crossings carries with them the hopes of tens of thousands of average Canadian workers who have had enough of the tyranny, but who just don't have the same voice or position of power to cause the dictators in Ottawa and Ontario and elsewhere to stand up and take notice. They can't back down now. They are protecting the hopes and aspirations of millions. Trudeau is just protecting the ego of one scared little 13 y.o. in a man's body who is increasingly finding himself in over his head.

I love dogs. The idiots closed the dog parks in Chicagoland for 3 months during covid, but left the parks open. Totally absurdity. When they opened it back up they removed the poop bag dispenser for fear of transmission. It it totally about control. They're trying to control every aspect of our lives. It's not a choice, it's an ultimatum being forced on Canadians. Choice means saying no to the jab and also no mandates, yet keeping jobs, etc. The opposite is tyranny. While most Canadians have been vaxxed, most don't support mandates, either.

Freedom is perhaps the most powerful factor brought up by Americans, Canadians, the Brits, Australians and others in the free world, showing that one singular aspect of where governments stand as compared to the people more than anything else we might deem beneficial. Mess with our freedoms long enough, and seriously enough, and the people will rise up in one way or another, and these Canadian truckers seem to be leading the way in proof of this. Canada has shown itself as a nation with too many freedom-loving people for leftists to ignore. It shows why we consider our Canadian friends among our best allies; that they're so much more like us than some others, and we can find more with similar thinking with ongoing news about such events elsewhere around the world. When Canadians are awake enough and care, our dedication to justice and freedom are legendary. Research it. We kicked Yankee butt in 1812 then in both world wars the Germans are on record saying they hated facing us in trench warfare more than any other nation. Why? Crazy Canuck Factor. We are wildmen accustomed to doing the same things everyone else does but in harsher conditions at subzero temperatures. It's why we dominate the world's toughest big-league sport too. Freedom is perhaps the most powerful factor brought up by Americans, Canadians, the Brits, Australians and others in the free world, showing that one singular aspect of where governments stand as compared to the people more than anything else we might deem beneficial. Mess with our freedoms long enough, and seriously enough, and the people will rise up in one way or another, and these Canadian truckers seem to be leading the way in proof of this. Canada has shown itself as a nation with too many freedom-loving people for leftists to ignore. It shows why we consider our Canadian friends among our best allies; that they're so much more like us than some others, and we can find more with similar thinking with ongoing news about such events elsewhere around the world. Many people would have to go to the workplace where the hostility and venom was palpable. Fully support and admire the truckers. I am an American trucker. I am in awe of what these ABSOLUTE LEGENDS are doing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦 I feel a bit sad we didn't do it in the States first. But in the States, truckers were not really under any crazy pressure. I was working with a small company, my company never cared if I get vaxed, so I didn't. I was rolling continuously for the last two years - no problem. Canada has really gone crazy with restrictions and mandates. Too much authoritarian dictatorship. Something had to give 🤷🏿♀️

"That which you resist persists" is a phrase that comes to mind. Or "What if a war gets declared and nobody shows up". That sort of thing. Stop playing other people's games, start living life simply and by your own rules...guided by peaceful presence as opposed to automatic egoic thinking.
