Totally agree, through no fault of his own, just trying to help someone with their car he ends up in this situation, he's not able to work and won't be able, he really deserves a leg up, I can't imagine the pain he has been through and still comes through as a nice human being.

He needs treatment for his addiction before being given money. This is not a burn, it's from IV drug use of a drug called "tranq". You can search it in YT for more information on the damage this drug does to your body. It's sad to see him like this, but it's not healing because he is still using. Be informed.

Unfortunately this is a very serious burn that he has, it’s known as the prayer effect when a serious enough burn occurs on your arm,the muscles and tendons of the arm contract causing your hand to be stuck in a certain position

You've never seen them because, sadly, they are not burns. They are flesh rot from taking tranq. It's very common. Addicts have a compulsion to pick at the wounds and not let them heal. We can see him picking at 3:00. We can see that he has no old scabs, the wounds are bloody even after 3 years. Like other addicts known to pick them down to the bone, he has picked apart his own tendons and caused his hand to curl up.

He’s a sweet man but those are not burns. I made a comment, praying for him, and hoping he gets to go fund me. A lot of former addicts and people who have been burned commented. Apparently, it’s not Burns at all, and the dude is lying. He is an addict and it is from shooting up drugs. This is such a sad story to see. I really hope this dude gets some serious help. 😢

Open wounds 3 years later, still picking at the open wounds instead of letting it heal, and picking at it so much he's destroyed his own tendon. There's a difference between someone lying to bring someone down, and someone spreading awareness of an extremely dangerous drug.

No us Americans are not like that it's a small fraction that comes into don't care about the situation where allow it to happen really want to get out of your situation just like supposedly this guy is a veteran and they have free health care from the VA so this guy is over here probably injecting his arms with meth and smoking a bunch of drugs and that's why he's like that don't feel sad for people who are okay with the situation they're in and refuse to do little or nothing to change it

America is broken when it can't help without charging for proper healthcare. You do not know his whole story. It's a 5 minute clip. It isn't ridiculous though, burns don't stay raw to the flesh 3 years later. Krocodil injection sites that have been picked at continually however do.... you can research it yourself. There's almost no world where this burn would be so fresh and opened 3 years later.

I’ve worked with burns and his wounds are nothing like that - they are definitely the kind of wounds you get from injecting. He still needs help though. It’s just nicer when people are honest.
