I love Malak. He's a much better villain than one-dimensional guys like Sion and Nihilus. Malak also was the second best duelist after Revan and was arguably a better Sith Lord than Revan though Revan was a better general and trash talker. Malak's trash talk is legendary. I only rate Kreia and Exar Kun over him in terms of being quality villains though I think Malak is cooler.

What I'd like to see is a KOTOR series. Starting with the Mandalorian Wars. Then I'd like to see them cover Revan and Malak's return as Sith Lords as well as Carth, Mission & Zalbazar, and Bastilla & her master's adventures leading up to KOTOR. I'd like to see the finale of the season before KOTOR with Malak leading a brutal campaign against the Republic and smashing a huge Republic fleet in a space battle. Then Malak lands on the surface and fights his way through several Republic troopers. Malak uses his combination of grace like Dooku with a ferocity that mirrors Vader's. Malak takes down two Jedi Masters and a skilled Jedi knight in the last fight of that episode. Of course, I'd like to see Malak lose his jaw before that. I'd like to see the phases of edgy Jedi Malak to new Sith Lord Malak to Dark Lord of the Sith Malak, each one more powerful than before. Then I'd like to see the KOTOR season and Revan vs Bendeck Starkiller. I'd like to see Revan and his allies take down that Korriban Sith Temple and to see Revan and Yuthara team up against Uthar. With Uthar knocking out Yuthara and nearly killing Revan. Then Revan beats up Yuthara with ease and turns her to the lightside. I want to know what happens to Yuthara after she becomes a Jedi again and what happens to Dustin (Carth's son) after KOTOR 1. Nihilus and Sion need some nerfs in KOTOR 2 but I'm hyped for that and see Revan and Exile work together in KOTOR 3 vs the Sith Emperor's army

The Leviathan, Sith uniforms, Malak's lightsaber, and Malak himself look absolutely fantastic!! Story telling cannot be rushed so I understand the delay, though, I can't help but feel a bit sad, lol. I totally love the idea about seeing these shorts about each of the characters! Building character depth to these wonderful characters is something I gravitate to. I am so looking forward to seeing them! Keep up the good work!

Holy cow! I never* cease to be amazed at how absolutely incredible the work you and everyone else who's been creating these unbelievable redesigns of KOTOR. Seriously, this was absolutely STUNNING. Just WOW! I'm at a loss for any more words of adoration that won't just come off as being overly repetitious so I'm just gonna leave it with this, thank you for doing what y'all doing, y'all are amazing.

KOTOR is the best Star Wars story/experience I've ever had. The first time playing through that story line and taking the time to talk to the characters. It made a profound impression on me. As such, I can't wait to see it come to life once more in this amazing work you're creating. Keep it up!

@@billclark5055 Malak was also somewhat one-dimensional. I know he got all that turned-darkside and traitorous thing going on, but nuance really isn't his strongest merit lol. I fucking love Nihilus because him as a concept is genius and unique. Of course he's one-dimensional AF, but that's why we got Kreia.

I notice Malak's lightsaber is a different design from the one he has in Legends, but I gotta say, I think I prefer this one, I love the design with the cracks running down the hilt, and how the light from the blade is visible through the hilt. Having these little character movies really intrigues me too.

The design looks exactly like the one he uses in the game, but with more detail on the design. Love it and I hope they use the design from Legends for Revan’s lightsaber during his retraining

I like the idea of back story shorts for the characters. It will definitely help give greater context for the characters than the game gave us.

I can't wait to show my grandfather who is also a big fan of Star Wars one of the best Star Wars stories in history thanks to this project, he will be able to experience KOTOR like I did when I played the game. Can't wait to share it with him, keep up the fantastic work.

While this is an independent production, it's officially backed by Lucas Arts and Disney. They probably ordered a delay so this 'remake' didn't get confused with the game being remade.

My goodness the graphics are amazing and the textures and the color pallet and how realistic Kotor looks, especially the characters. One teeny nit pick something is off with Malak's nose like it almost needs to be slightly skinnier and slightly pointy

My only critque is the color of Malak's eyes. He never got the red-gold eyes of a Sith. Instead he had a sort of blue shifting into a dark spruce green. Other then that one minor detail, this looks amazing! And can't wait to see the end results.

Nothing against this project at all becasue this is amazing and i have the most faith that this will be worth it but I swear if I keep getting blue balled by these glorious looking fan made animations, I'm gonna become a eunic cause its getting dang near impossible. Like astartes, then all of Warhammer plus and a few others tend to seem to evaporate at max anticipation.

I hope this is later in the intended viewing order. Amnesia man's journey with Malak as a mysterious villain should be the starting point before you reveal he's Revan later on, and then you take an episode to show how Revan made Malak what he is. That's how I would do it, anyways

Hello, can someone please tell me what software was used for cloth modeling and cloth texturing? Marvelous Designer and Substance Painter by any chance? Also, the human basemesh is from Character Creator? This is absolutely inspiring for me as a die hard Kotor fan and a 3D artist. I want to be able to say one day: " I can do this kind of stuff! "
