The music for this song was written by Ryota and Tomoya. They were just having a session late at night when Ryota randomly played those opening notes. It caught Tomoya's attention and he was like, "Play that again!" and that was how they got the awesome bass line for the song.

Their ex producer from AMUSE (before they were signed by Warner Bro then Fueled By Ramen) was also a Japanese composer who had studied music composition in Oregon State University. So for most of these songs you've been reacting to, he's the guy responsible for arranging them / helping Taka with his pronunciation of English / working as a bridge between Japanese and American sound engineers etc. Name's Kazunori Ito. Apparently when he decided to pick up One Ok Rock from a tiny live house where they were performing, it was pretty crappy but they seemed determined to walk on the rocky path.
