So true, like it wouldn’t even take that much to make the story better, just give a little more exposition at the beginning, ie our NAME, redo the credits cutscenes entirely, like having Kelvin recovering and Virginia NOT pregnant. And the story already is 10x better.

For anyone curious if they stayed on the island, a few things happen. They build the artifact in a new cave that spawns, enemies become more aggressive, there are more enemy types, and s99e enemies have upgraded versions of themselves. It essentially just lets you keep playing the game.
