How wonderful. My parents used to take me to see the Nutcracker at the opera house when I was a little girl. I am so glad your family got to see it together.

I first attended a production of The Nutcracker when I was Eva's age, nearly seventy years ago.

I read long ago that the fortune was invented in the US by a Chinese Restaurant owner.

Yeah, I know it's not from China. Fortune cookies only existed in Chinatown in the US. In thr Chinatown in Inonesia we don't have that kind of cookies.

I was going to say the same of our BC. Our daughter starts jumping around and the dog just goes absolutely bananas. If she goes outside or we go for a walk, the dog tries to herd her back to the house or keep her with the group. Some really don't like changes or anything new and can become extremely anxious like this. Some also have separation anxiety because they've lost part of their herd. Herding breeds can have some weird quirks, but it's just how they have been bred. We had to break ours of the biting and nipping real quick. That's also pretty common. Now he just licks everything and will lay his tongue on you and just leave it there. It's how he shows affection. He's weird sometimes, but he's a good dog and we love him.
