Hey Karma! That was when I was 1-6. My teams got wiped so quickly that it took awhile for us to figure what had even happened! You even got patches squad in that (iirc). Before the KOG call came in, I was wondering what could wipe patches out. 🤣 GGs

This ambush was a work of art. You and your team worked in perfect harmony, and the way you neutralized the enemy was spectacular.

An ambush is an easy thing to f-k up and a challenging thing to execute as you wait for the enemy to come into your killzone, patience and preparation is mandatory. Setting up fields of fire and getting the areas grid co's for pre-designated artillery. Even though this is a videogame you guys did real well, I probably woulda gotten bored and turned this sh!t off 20 mins in. We spent alooooooot of time training for this shit at my unit, A co. 1-187 inf 101st AASLT

Hey karma is there any way to built your own fighting positions? Like foxholes and mg positions with overhead cover? If not; is there any way to mod that in? If you had that when you were being mortared you'd have been far more secure. Btw I'm loving this content man, me and my flatmates all watch each new video on our projector in the lounge, weve built a "stadium" and can even watch from our spa pool, it's so freaking awesome. We all sit down, watch this on the big screen and talk about what's going on, it's really enjoyable man. From all of us here in New Zealand, thank you.

You're lucky their FO didn't start calling mortars on your tree-line. In the Exile mod on fully militarized servers, when I hear demo going off on one of my teammates, if we have artillery support, I always call it in along tree lines that had a vantage point on our old position but that was too far for accurate fire. I also know that they have to be under 800 meters for a command detonation (depending on what mod you are using for explosives).
