3 жыл бұрынReleased 1960 along with “Little Poplar Log House On The Hill.” This song was written by A.L. Phipps, who took the tune of The Carter Family’s “We Will March Through The Streets Of The City” and rewrote all the verses, and most of the chorus.

@@colinhaines9369 Yes i was so happy Sara agreed to do this with him and her children, it made such a difference to the end of his life, it was a shame Gladys could not be part of this.

The Carter Family Channel I completely agree with you. I don’t think Gladys was to big into the music though, lol. I’ve only ever seen one photo of her holding an instrument at all.
