Fiordland Part 1: The crew set off on their biggest adventure yet as they head to Fiordland with their Surtees boat. The place is alive with, huge crayfish, big blue cod, bluefin tuna and deer.

As a x game fishermen I have found when catching tuna keep the boat moving at there swimming speed they can't stop swimming and just gaff them.

Curious as to why not launch from Milford sound and then take the boat around to doubtful sound? Or would that use too much fuel?

There’s no road access to that side of Lake Manapouri. Once we get our boat across the lake there needs to be a trailer and vehicle already on that side

just circumstances. You can actually launch the boat with the trailer strapped to it and carefully travel across, then pull the lot out with a different vehicle and continue.

Deer are a pest. Check the legal definition of a pest in New Zealand... consult your lawyer, he'll tell you. For a fee. Oh by the way that's $150 thks
